Tax scam. Horrible stuff. Threatens to send police to your house if you don't pay immediatly.

IRS scam said I was in default I stopped the caller and said she should be ashamed of herself and advised her the IRS does not contact by phone and if she was IRS to send me a certified letter she hung up after that

Saying that they are part of the Irshad and saying that there is a criminal matter

Worst spam call ever..  Tax fraud and bull crap ...

Left a voicemail with a number to return, but number does not work, called actual number that called and it is an IRS scam.  I didn't ask how they wanted me to pay, but I feel like something needs to be done to stop this.

They do this and also pretend to be an attorney general from Washington State but uses a Washington DC number. They send you a "warrant/arrest"  for "wirefraud"  as well. So don't believe these scammers!!

Please report to the Federal Trade Commission and to the IRS. See site IRS.gov and give them the telephone number.

Attorney generals and IRS will not contact you by emails.

Some robo caller calls at 9:00 am on Sat. Morning  leaving a robot voice threat message!! With a fake file number!! Sad sad sad!!

Please remove this number from my phone. I just received a call in regards to my taxes. It's a scam.

I began getting calls from this number on August 26th. They threatened to me about a legal matter and said I need to call them or have my lawyer contact them. Otherwise they will escalate the matter and wished me good luck. These are scammers... I blocked the number from my cell phone.  I don't even know how they were able to call me since I am on the Do Not Call list.

Pathetic, called my wife and left her an intimidating message stating they were from the IRS and that she needed to contact them about a tax matter. Only the voice was computer generated. Yeah that's right, i'd believe the most sophisticated and well trained tax collecting agency on the planet is calling up people and leaving cell phone messages with their bonzi buddy. These folks need lifes, + jobs. Ignore these wannabe scammers.

Fake IRS call, claiming to want to help me in an IRS tax issue.  I knew it was a scam, because I'm an accountant. The IRS doesn't call you or give out your information to 3rd party tax lawyers or tax counseling firms.  These people should be in jail for exhortation and personal injury of mental distress.

I doubt you'll see this, but what exactly are you asking for? No one here called you; no one can remove (I assume you mean remove your number from the caller's list) because a) no one here called you and b) how would we know your number anyway? Only you can block calls on your own phone line, but you need to find a way to do that. Try an Internet search for CALL BLOCKING.

Just received this phone call at 9:38 this morning. Let voice mail pick up.   It says " this is Officer Daniel Wiseman calling from the legal dept of the IRS.  This is in ref to a criminal lawsuit filed against you. Your case # is CF93271...."  Yada, yada, yada....

Yep. And the "officer" calling is a robot.
