Received call. Did not leave message. Called number back and it answers send fax now or leave a message.

Called and did not leave message. Caller id said; WA, USA.

2 calls, answered 2nd call.
Asked if I wanted credit counseling interview and told me they had mailed something to me.
I said no and hung-up.
Isn't this illegal?

said it was from Egypt, answered, no one on the other end.

Caller was instructed to remove our number from his call list. He repeatedly kept asking for a reason even after being told that we did not have to give a reason.

Keeps  calling after being told no, and told to not call back.

This is a first:  the scammer was too lazy or stupid to even make up a name for the caller Id, as it read, "Unassigned."  Obviously, we didn't answer.  Blocked.

Seven calls in the last six weeks. Never a msg. Caller ID says "Seatlle"
The FCC is incompetent to stop this. the Congress and OBAMA dont care.

Got a call with ID of Seattle WA asking for me by name.  He was from some sort of credit counseling and said that one or more of my creditors had been found guilty of unlawfully raising my interest rates.  When I asked him which one he was talking about, he said he had a specialist standing by who had more information on that and could talk to me.  I told him he was just fishing and hoping I would take the bait and that I was happy with my rate now and was not interested.  I said thanks then hung up.

 Just to mention they are still at it.  In this case there was nobody there to speak to, so I hung up after a few seconds.  The caller Id showed "Seattle   WA"

Just an update.  Received another call from the same number.  As before nobody was there when we answered the phone.  After 17 seconds we just got dial tone.  The difference is that now the caller Id showed 'unassigned'

Another update.  They called again, this time a live person was there.  They asked for my wife, I said she was unavailable and they said they would call back later.  Since they never bothered to say who they were or what they were calling about, I just added them to the call block list on my phone.

Live caller from "Burlington Financial", asked for me by name.  Didn't have a foreign accent - this time! Told him not interested and hung up. Dialed *69 to received phone number of caller.  Went online and this site popped up.  Probably won't do any good to report call, but makes me feel a bit better!

Upon callback, recording says " number is unallocated" ..  Probable scammer.

Though blocked for some time, this number continues to call me, though it's call frequency has dropped, which is nice.

Left a message saying it was the IRS and to call back.

Calling with a congratulations on $7,000.00 grant issue to me, from  U S  GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL DEPT ,,I think it's sorry for people to call disable people who are barely making it at xmas time  with this scam ,claiming to be  US GOVERNMENT w/return # 206-984-0577
