- ClarkI keep getting these postcards from "Jesse" who wants to buy a house.
They have a different phone number almost every time (not a good sign).
This number does not search online (also not a good sign).
Another number Jesse has used is 541-526-7247 (reported here by others on 800notes).
His PO Box 305, Vancouver, WA address links back to "Ameri Spec Home Inspection Svc" at chamberofcommerce-dot-com (5 unhappy reviews there); and to "Amerispec" at the Better Business Bureau (bbb-dot-org with 3 more unhappy reviews there).
The bottom line is: BEWARE of folks with those quick all-cash offers for your home.
They may well offer you less than your house is worth (could be many thousands less - they have to make a profit after they buy it from you).
Go to Redfin and Zillow websites to see what your house is really worth (it's free), and also ask a real estate agent.
If you do want to sell your house, put it out on the open market, and take multiple bids - make them compete.
Do your homework, and don't be a sucker.- Call type: Scam suspicion
