got an im telling me to call this number

I also got an IM telling me to call this number.  The IM responses when I typed back were quick and canned - like it was either automatic or the person was copying and pasting.  Said I could get my college degree in practically anything and it only takes a month.

i got this one too,... its like an automated message,... just wanna learn how it was created.

I just had an IM pop on on Yahoo messenger with this same thing.  But the weird thing is it came across as being from one of my friends.  I quickly realized it wasnt him and text him to ask if he was talking to me and of course he wasnt!  He said he recieved several calls from other friends asking if he sent the message.  Anyone call the number and find out what it was?

i got the same im from a friend of mine telling me to call this number saying he got his degree in a month... knowing... he already had his degree from an acredited university... but it was really strange... because someone was obviously having a conversation with me in the process... i did not call the number... especially under such false pretenses...

yea i started replying back in another language and it still tried to get me to call this number. funny thing is that i was typing random phrases.

i also just receive the same message as you that comes from one my friends list..i google the phone number and found this website..no wonder he didnt replied anything  when i ask..hmmmm

I just got a im message from a friend.  I did call the number but hung it up.  They want you to give them your number so that they can call you back with the info that you requested

all crazy! i got this message too from my 'friend' robert off yahoo and i replied back, "ok machine Robert" i got a message back saying i'm not a machine lol. then i googled the number and told "it" i was going to report him to the police! haha.. of course, no response was received after that.

Well apparently Robert had a busy day, cause I received that message from him too :)

Same thing as the rest of you. from a friend on my friends list.
