This has got to be only a contact number, I just found this number for a chicago apt listing......

This seemed to me some scam... Don't give your credit score that way they will know your social security number...

I just saw an add for an apt in brooklyn for $900... only fax credit report...same as yours...seems like a scam... googled the number and there are several posts around us saying the same...amazing apartments...great price... just fax credit report...weird

In regards to the craigslist add for the apartment in Chicago, I looked up the address to see if I could link it to an apartment complex and it was the address for the Water Tower. Its a scam.

People probably don't think about it type in their personal info..

This is clearly a scam...and to prove it go ahead look it up do a reverse search on Whitepages.com and BBB.com you will see that there is no business link to the phone number. Also the ad has no contact info that should be your first clue.

How?  A credit score is just a number - 610, 745, 520.  They're not asking for a credit REPORT, just as score.

I just found a posting on craigslist for a really pricey apartment renting for $1600 requesting only your credit score also.  It is a scam.  The address was wrong and the closest thing googlemaps could find was a Chase Bank in that area.

It has to be a scam... There was an "address" for the real estate company they are supposedly with and I know that area well and it does not exist.
