Got a call from this number on my cell phone. "We have an important announcement for homeowners in your area - press 1 if you want to hear it."  I did not press one. It's an automated dialer that does not use the do not call list and markets to cell phone numbers.

Yeah - just happened to me.  What a pain!

I keep trying to block these [***] from bothering me. Always saying if I want the number blocked to push 1

Just called me about "if you're a homeowner blah blah blah" basically the same thing that "cell phone user" above got. Tried calling it back, just click and hangs up. Talk about annoying

just received one too..at work...disconnected in 5 to 10 seconds...asked me to press one something about a homeowner...blah blah....207 area code is maine...i dont even live there!!!

If you push 1 they step up the calls to you and it  gets more frequent.  I talked to a gal there and she said by pushing 1 I gave them permission to keep call ing me.  Also, very unhappy with me and hung up when I asked them to stop calling.

Just got a call from them, and got total silence before the disconnected.

I just got the same phone call and googled it..i see everyone is going through the same drama.  they called and i called back  told me to push 1 to be placed on the do not call list.. but they just called back... annoying

Got a call from this number two or three times now.

I went through the motions to act as if I were interested.

A "Jennifer" picked up, and I told her that she was calling a business - not even a private home

She said "Alright" and hung up on me

Was taking a well needed nap will waiting for an important call on my CELL.
I google all these now and ended up here.  I have one other  sales company (The well know septic pest!)that calls my cell but I have purchased other  products from them on my land line for years.  Don't know how they put the phone numbers together.

Yeah, got a call too; didnt answer because i dont recognize the # then looked it up online and ended up here. thank you for the heads up!!!

unwanted calls

I just got a call from this number this morning on my cell phone.  I was on the other line and did not answer it.  No message was left.  Looked up the area code 207 and it's in Maine.  I'm assuming this was a telemarketing call.

I just got one from that number. I'm in KY, dunno anyone in Maine. :S

I left my cell phone at home and just now noticed 207-766-7616 just called and didnt leave a message.. I figured it was B.S. cause i dont know a soul in Maine..

Called my place of business today.  Pre-recorded telemarketing call claiming I could get a "FREE" alarm system.  Yeah, right.  There was no "opt out" feature.  Both pre-recorded telemarketing calls and no "opt out" feature are BOTH ILLEGAL.  So I pressed 3 to speak to a representative.  I let them know they were calling a place of business, their call was breaking the law and that I report ALL of these illegal, unsolicited calls to the authorities.  So now I'm off the donotcall.gov site to file a complaint.  My second one against these scammers.

Just got a call from these morons and they were trying to sell me home security service. I hit "1" to get a live person and when the lady answered she asked who'm she had the pleasure of speaking with so my reply was "someone who wishes you would choke on a d*** and leave me alone" and of course her reply made my day she simply said "Sir with language like that you will be getting a lot more of these calls."
