Because they're likely calling from overseas spoofing phone numbers from the U.S.

Destiny called to update a free subscription to Supply Chain Magazine. I asked to cancel the subscription, she asked why, and I replied that it was not useful. She continued said that it was updated with new information. I asked again to cancel. Destiny hung up. I called the number back and the line kept cutting in and out. I asked to have our number removed from the call list. Both people I spoke to had very heavy accents. I'm fairly certain the call did not originate in Boise, ID, as the number would suggest.

Well, I wouldn't trust ANYONE with an INDIAN accent calling from IDAHO.  Just doesn't match in my book!!!

They call all the time. We called them back and it's endless elevator music, occasionally interrupted by 2 ring tones and back to elevator music. We read Trade Magazines too, and yes, their people do call to verify if whether we still want to receive them, but if this is them, they don't have enough operators. It's amazing how so many people that use the phone, apparently  have no idea it's a 2 way process. Maybe they should stick to rinsing potatoes?

This number called eleven times from 530 in the AM to 1130 at night over the course of three days. I called back, foolishly, and the number rings once and goes to hold music. Probably sometihng unsavory.

They called to verify one of the several Trade Publications we subscribe to. This is important to the Publication as they sell advertising targeting Professionals in the specific Industry --the Call Centers mysterious Caller ID makes their job tough as it looks like a Spammer on a Fake  Caller from Boise, ID.  Dunn and Bradstreet does this too. Go figure.

I get several calls from this number daily at my desk phone at work.

Same thing happened to me today as happened to Beth.

We don't want anymore FREE magazines. They will end up in the trash anyway!

Range -- answering machine picked up.  Nothing... probably a spoofed number anyway. Area Code 208 is Idaho.

I didn't answer and they left no message. Usually I would block  BUT, based upon the notes above I will answer next time and will report here.

Caller ID said  "Out of area."     That is a foolish ID.   The company needs to update that to something honest and descriptive..

This number calls me 2,3 times a day.
I have it blocked  for the last 3 months  and it still calls. Not good for sure.

This number calls our company at least three times a day. They are trying to renew a subscription to a magazine we don't even subscribe to.  Have told them several times to remove the name from the list.  They don't!  They are relentless!

I answer the phone (caller id says Boise, ID) no one responds. Hangs up.

Called 12+ times in the past week.  Never leaves a message.

This was a follow up call to verify information from a free subscription to Aerospace Manufacturing Magazine I applied for through my company. They only verified the information I gave them on the application and did not ask for any additional info.  Call was legitimate but they call 2-4 times a day which initially led me to believe it was a creditor.
