Are they calling your cell phone?  If so you can download a "no ring" ring tone and assign it to the pest's phone number.  They'll still call, but it will go to voice mail without making a sound.

The call back is: 619-229-4434  If you call that number you get "The National Organization for Marriage!"  I think we should all be filing complaints with the donotcall.gov registry!  I have filed 3 complaints. The calls are incessant and I have had it.  NO MEANS NO!!!  They should retitle themselves the national organization for phone rape!

I 'm not in CA, but on the east coast.

Brent, can you verify this for me?  I sent an e-mail to the owner of (888) 201-8929 -- which is "StJosephsMen.com" -- and the organization president denied any involvement:

" I can assure you we are not the organization for the 'robo-calls' we have no such device and we are located in Northern California in the 408 area code. I'm sorry for your trouble. I personally hate those calls. I have been getting them on my cell lately from political ads."

This damn number has called my cell phone 15 times in the last week. Always after 10 pm. The last few days i was getting called between 1-3 AM. WTF?

Just got this call but, no one on the other end.  I am in Ohio and we are not having elections of course until November.  I get so sick of thes kind of calls and always at dinner time.

I'm in Georgia and am recieving numerous calls from this number except they are calling, asking to speak to the homeowner and proceed to tell me that my home is in forclosure, which it is not. I ask them not to call and they continue!

Political calls are among those exempt from the Do-Not-Call registry.

My wife and I got robo calls at 6 AM on Saturday and 7 AM on Sunday.  The fact that so many people are getting these calls from different political organizations at truly inconvenient times of day makes me believe that they are generated by the opposition in order to generate strife.  Anyone seeking votes would try to appeal to voters rather than anger them and would not use dirty tricks to achieve those ends.  Their opponents would.  Food for thought.

Call about the Utah primary election

I live in Hawaii and they keep on calling me. I get calls all through out the day and night. It gets annoying because im either sleeping or working. I also get calls from 1(866) 927-5206.They both call me like 10 plus times a day.

Same thing:  "This was a political survey call, we may call back later, thank you."

Annoying ass-wipes!

Two missed calls in twelve hours... bloody annoying

We receive these calls also.. No one speaks when we answer.  It is most annoying to get up to answere the phone when not feeling well and no one there. they call every day!

I got a call too.  And I'm in Maryland.  How does that make any sense?  RSCHMID2010 clearly will not get my vote, but he wouldn't anyway.  I've never lived in California.  Hmm.  From the comments this number seems to be used for a lot of political stuff, but not consistently... could it be a scammer hoping for donations and access to your credit card?  I'm thinking scammer.

This makes no sense unless its a scammer trying to get a political donation from you...

Just got a call from that number claiming to being an "erectile dysfuntion" survey.  I suggest response, after some reflection, should be, "Yes, our dog Fido has a problem.  He can lick and lick...etc"  What can you get us to help the poor frustrated canine.
