I keep receiving phone calls around 10 or 11 am ET from this number for an unknown reason.  The CallerID name for this number is listed as "P30PLE RSPNZ" (P-<THIRTY>-PLE).

The "Who Calls Me" web site reports a number of people are asked "Do you have a small dog?" by a machine when they answer.  A contributor to this site provides the following (unverified) information:

"I believe this is the person who has been at the root of this. His Name is Mike Chase, owner of a Database Marketing, Inc. Give him a call for yourself....this is his personal home phone number and address: (208) 772-8293 7512 N 4th St, Dalton Gardens, ID 83815-8737. I'm sure he'll appreciate a call at his house. Here's his business line...might as well leave a message there as well.(208) 667-6887 After much sleuthing...I believe we have our man. All it really took was a little common sense. Telemarketing companies deal in databases all the time. Coeur D Alene, Idaho couldn't have that many of these kinds of companies. A few phone calls and a couple of other tricks and voila...All's fair in love and spam marketing. WOOF

The home phone number mentioned above is NOT the person who is responsible for all these unwanted calls to our homes.  In fact, these poor people have nothing to do with this horrible scam.  I just spoke at length with the wife of this alleged scam artist.  The phone number and address and names of those mentioned above have nothing to do with the scam.  All I can say is that I hope they get to the bottom of this.  But, PLEASE, don't call them..... Wrong tree!
