I am receiving these calls, I know of three times today.  There was also another number, I remember it started with 866.  I called this "866" number and it was after hours, so they asked me for my account number or social security number.  This was all automated.  I believed they called themselves Bank Credit One or somthing close.  I don't know what the deal is but this just started happening to me this past week?  Something is going on and I am going to report it to the FTC and the Attorney General in my state.  I don't want these idiots taking advantage of anyone, especially the elderly.

It's actually not a scam...Credit One Bank is a high Risk Credit Card provider.  I have a Credit One Credit Card.  I missed a payment one month and they are very diligent in calling.  If you are getting calls then you either have the card and have missed a payment or have applied for the card online and they are calling to verify that it is you applying.

Yeah, I called them.  I don't have a credit card nor does anyone in my family.  I also haven't applied for one. I tried to get info out of them, which is like pulling teeth.  They say I am listed as a contact?  Would not tell me who.  They also wouldn't give me there physical address, only a po box.  They are in Las Vegas.  If they are legit, which obviously they are since you have a card, why don't they act professional.  I have called them several times and I get a different answer everytime.  If I were you, I would check with Better Business Bureau in Las Vegas.  I have a feeling that there is something not right and you may be on the receiving end of something illegal.  You need to check and see if they are even supposed to be doing business.  Get a Federal Tax Id.  They maybe really overcharging you on interest because of the "high risk" factor.  I hope they are ok, and if they aren't, the money you owe them would go away, and possible lawsuit...But thanks for your info and good luck.

This number calls my cell phone at least 5 times a day. They only let it ring for one ring & then they hang up. They don't even give me time to answer. And then when I happen to have my phone in my hand as they are calling, when I try to answer no one is there. How do I stop them from calling?

This number have been calling my husbands cell phone numerous times a day, never leaving a message. Finally he decided to answer and was given a run around when he question them the reason for such calls.  He was told he had applied for a card with them.  My husband told them he has never applied or have any credit card with them, then he was told that maybe his wife, which he told them no (he knows I don't like credit cards), he ask them to stop calling, to no avail.  Finally I called and to get information was like pulling teeths - the rep. told me she couldn't give me any info. to what I said my husband was with me if they need to verify with him. One of the answers from their rep was real strange "are you looking for your wife???" at this point I asked to speak with a supervisor & after waiting for a while I was transferred - I was asked my husbands name & was told my husbands name didn't match their name in record with this cell #.  I belive there is something or some scam going on.

Called this number today and it is indeed Credit One Bank, due to the voice on the other end answering: "Thank you for calling Credit One Bank." The name on the caller ID is I C Systems.

I just started receiving calls from this company today. In less than two hours, I have received two calls. Thanks to the advice of someone here, I checked my status on the DoNotCall Registry (which I have been a part of for over 10 years now). I have not applied for a credit card with this company nor do I have a credit card from this company. I filed a complaint about them via the online form. Here's the link in case anyone is interested. https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Hello, read your message and I couldn't agree more. This is very frustrating and such an annoyance. I answered once and also was put on hold and im on a limited min kind of basis and I dont have time forthe nonsense. Please go forward if necessary and I would be happy to join in in the complaint. Its almost to the point of harassment.
