asked for me then wanted me to enter my last 4 of soc and then recieved a 2nd call 3-5 minutes later unknown doing the exact same thing

This number calls multiple times and never leaves a message.  If I pick up, an automated message says to hold for an important call.  I have held for several minutes and no one picks up.  I have also called the number back. They pick up as "West Asset Management please hold" Again, I hold for several minutes and no one picks up.  If this is a legitimate debt collector, why haven't any notices been mailed to my home?  I have not received anything at all by mail (????)

West Asset Management is looking for a Mr. William Prince, who is giving out numbers left and right and apparently has a large outstanding debt. I am not Mr. Prince. West Asset Management uses different numbers that they call from, using a recorded message. I have placed several complaints with the FTC against them.

Legitimate debt collector. I never wait when they call and put me on hold, but that only happens occasionally. I am currently disputing my bills with the hospital, so they're calling me often, unfortunately.

I keep getting calls from this number and they never leave a message.  I tried to call back once and it was a recording saying to stay on the line and my call was important.  No one ever answered and I hung up after a minute or two.  I think this is a spam number.

I have received legitimate calls from West Asset Management in the past, however the last call I couldn't confirm, and since then it has been recorded calls, that do not identify the company, asking to stay on the line, or press 1, then  it asks me to enter the last 4 digits of my social, which they should not expect any intelligent person to do.  I'm to the point that if they think I owe money, they need to send me a written statement. I'm not making any payments over the phone unless I have called the company directly.

Have received two calls from them with two different local phone numbers. Have blocked them both. I don't have any debts that I am aware of and would have received notice by mail if I had. I think these folks are pretending to be a legitimate debt collector and suckering people to give out personal information.

If they are calling your cell phone it is illegal.

not sure who this is, no message, when I do answer there is no one there - IF this is a debt collector how do I get them to stop calling my cell phone? My vm announcement directs the caller to "mail" me information if they are attempting to collect a debt

I don't know who these people are or what they want.  They were calling about my brother's ex, and stated that this number was used as a contact number for my brother's ex.  The number they called is unlisted and I have had it only two months???!!!!  And the fact is I haven't spoken to her in years.

They called my husband asking for someone we didn't know then called my phone 30 seconds later asking for the same person whom we've never heard of.  He said he was calling from West Asset Management.

My husband has repeatedly been called by this and related numbers.  He block them one by one.  They claim to be a collection agency but I think they are just a scam.  I have reported them to the proper authorities.
