CID says Lieberman Research. I didn't answer and they did not leave a message.

I GET A CALL AT LEAST ONCE A DAY FROM THESE GUYS, I DO NOT ANSWER THEY DO NOT LEAVE A MSG.

This is a marketing company.  Just call back the number... you will get an automated customer service message saying to enter your number if you want to be removed from their call list.  Only took me about 30 seconds, and now they won't call anymore.

I keep getting these calls from this number and I answered it the first time and it was computerized saying that my fax had been suggestfully received. I know nothing about this so I blocked that number and still get 1 ring calls(thats how my block works) at least 3x's a day. Now what do I do?

They have called 3 times today.  Last time the message just caught the end of the computer voice stating "veri-fax"  or something then their phone number.  CID states Lieberman Research.  Will block number now!

I really DON'T believe they will stop calling.... in fact is seems to be just the contrary... you just confirmed your phone number for them.... I doubt they will respect your request... Why? Because I've seen it happen.

I actually answered, and the person on the other end didn't want to talk.
She started stuttering about a computer problem and said she'd call back.  I insisted she tell me what the call was about, and she asked if I was interested in a free trial of the Metro West newspaper.
I live in Mass and the call was from Idaho, and she sure sounded like she was lying.
Must be some kind of scam.

I live in MA and receive calls from this number numerous times a day. I never answer and the message that's left says "this is a service verification, we will call you back later." There is a name that comes up on my caller ID - Alen D. Coeur.

I haven't answered but I get atleast 3 calls a day

That name, Alan D. Coeur, sounds suspicious.  One of the other posters mentioned that the call was from Idaho.  There is a town in Idaho called Coeur d'alene.  It doesn't take much imagination to see how the name Alan D. Coeur  could have been made up.

I am getting the calls in MA also.  If I did not need it for a few things, it would be time to give up the land line.  This call comes in up to 4 times a day.  Jerry you are right on top of things.  My caller ID says "Coeur D Alen ID" the phone tried to turn the letters into a name.  I dont think I would ever have made to conection to a town. Thanks for the information everyone.  Good luck avioding the anoying callers.

These people call everyday and leave the same types of message. Something sounded funny, one of the last times, background conversation was very UNBUSINESS like.....scam...

recently started getting calls from coeur alen d every day in ma. i never answer--today they left a message which only said "thankyou".  i get so many unwanted calls--i have 12 numbers blocked already so cannot block any more.  why do we have to put up with this annoyance.  we can put a man on the moon but cannot protect our phone lines.

my first call was 10/11 at 12:36pm.  id read Lieberman Resea, research I suppose.  they did leave a message - something to the effect of "this is a service verification, we will call you back later".  didn't say what kind of service.  will not pick up if they call again!!

Same for me as the previous message. They've called multiple times and left multiple messages about "service verification."

Calls multiple times each day for several days now.  Leaves message about "service verification".  This is the same number that someone from Metrowest Daily News called from last week.  They want to verify the address so they can start a "free" subscription to the newspaper.  I think this is some clever scheme an attorney concocted to get around the do-no-call lists.  The script is carefully prepared so that they are not "selling" anything.   They are just "verifying" your address.  Sure. . .  if they really wanted to send out a trial subscription, they could just have the carriers drop off the papers.  It would be nice to put a stop to this somehow.

Caller ID showed Coeur D' Alene, Idaho.  I would expect this to be a political organization which is exempt from the Do Not Call Registry restrictions.

I called back and was able to enter my number to be removed from the call list with in 2 business days.

Two calls so far today--"Coeur D Alen ID" on caller id which, when I googled it showed to be a town in Idaho. I'm in VA. When I answered, it said "Verafast" and then said a phone number too fast for me to write down--the last part, I think, was 758-0241. We are on the do not call list already. Looks like I'll be calling the phone company to block this--seems to me I remember a law that was passed that allowed for suing folks like this for nice sums of money. May look into it. :-/

I am in Ct and have received this call on my cell daily for the last 3 days. They do not leave a msg.
