Got a call but no message left, returned the call and have ni idea who it is. It comes from Idadho but nobody lives in Idaho........right?

two days in a row. no message

has now called two consecutive days - no message - I know not a soul in Idaho

They've called twice in the past few days. The first time I answered, I got an automated message that said to "stay connected and not hang up, there was an important message for me." I hung up.

The second time I did not answer. I did, however, call the number back and a man answered. I didn't understand who he said he was, but he finished with, "How can I help you?" I hung up.

Don't know who it could be. Bill collectors do call this number though. So maybe it's them.

I called them back and they said they were "a diverse financial institute". Refused to give any other info other than saying that "we deal in many financial ventures".  Asked to be removed from list, was told that this would be done.  My guess is that this is a collection agency, we have changed our phone number recently and have started getting these calls with our new number.

I just got a call from the number you mention, 208-991-1247.
We have been getting these calls repeatedly.
I don't hold on if I don't get an immediate answer.
We are on the Do Not Call list.  
I would like to report this to the FCC or someone, but I don't know who.

Received a call from this number on my Federal Government phone. Caller left no message, but I suspect that they are debt collectors since I've been plagued for more than a year by debt collectors looking for a particular individual. Debt Collection agencies sell, then re-sell their databases, so no matter how many times a person asks to be removed from inaccurate lists or from recycled/resold phone numbers, the next agency to receive the debt collection database will call anyway.

It is a collection agency, I got a call and they were looking for a person name "John-----". After advising them no John listed at the given number, they appoligized and indicated they will remove the number from thier list.

Called a few months ago. Called again yesterday. Called again today. Wonder what they're trying to pull.

Called blocking my number after they called n left no msg.  A guy named charlie answered n knew my name dispite me blocking my number.  hung up w.out asking more onfo - was afraid to confirm anything as I wasn't sure if this was some way of them stealing my identity.

I have gotten several calls from this number in the last few days, so I called them back. They were looking for someone that does not live at my house, nor has never lived at my house. I have had my phone number for 10 years. I was not very polite to these [***]. They said they would remove my number from their call list. I told them that was a real good f'n idea.

Just got a call on my new cell number.  I hung up before they finished the  recorded message that said it was not a sales call.  Called it back on my land line and the line was busy.

Just got a call from this number, Mr Cooper from Memerix Collection company was the rudest a**hole I have ever delt.  This idiot thought that trying to scare me would work. Poor scum!!!  Oh yeah! They collect for Capital One

It IS a debt collector.  I answered the call after they called a couple of times, and they asked for an individual that I knew, and wanted more info on him.  I told them I didn't have any, and to please take me off their call list.

This number is a telemarketer who is Phishing...they want you to call back..don't call them, and don't leave your name. They are the same "kick" as the 1234 number claiming that some credit union card that I never heard off has been canceled and I need to call them to reactivate> Don't ever trust these guys, and never return the call - delete it!
