Marked as spam by Verizon Wireless. Non-fixed VOIP with no name associated. Leaves long robocall dead air VM. BLOCK WITH A VENGEANCE.

Guy with Indian accent asking for Mr. [First name of principal rather than last name.]  I asked who he was calling on behalf of, and he said "Google Quality Control."  I told him he would need to talk to IT, not Mr. [First name of principal] and I would have them call him if they need to speak with him.  I asked him for a valid contact number and he said "sure" but said nothing more.  I then asked if this was a valid number and he said yes.  I said thank you and hung up.  Since our IT people work with Google daily and Google knows them by name, I suspect this is a scam call.

The idiot called right back 10 min later, asking for Mr. [Last name].  I asked who he was calling on behalf of, and he again said "Google Quality Control."  I told him that someone else already called 10 minutes ago, and that our IT dept. would need to talk to him, NOT Mr. ___,  and that if our IT dept. is interested in speaking with Google, our IT dept. will call Google back.  And then I hung up again.

This appears to be a scam caller. The guy has a strong Indian accent. He claimed to be from Google Quality Control and asked to confirm our Business name and asked how many people worked with us. When I asked for his name and a number I could call him back at, he hung up. When I called the number as it appears on the call log it said "the number is not in service.... goodbye." This guy more than likely is getting business numbers online then calls to get confirming information in order to use it for some unseemly purpose. HANG UP ON HIM. SOMETHING SEEMS VERY WRONG.

I have been getting calls from this number for several days. Same Indian accent. He knew my name (said it wrong). I put it on speaker and played Joe Biden's speech today and he said hello, hello and then hung up. They don't leave a message.

Kept him on the phone long enough that didnt seem real. Was asking questions that lead to phishing for specific things that if they were really google, would already know.

He called AGAIN.  Phone panel read "Oakdale Ca."  He asked for our principal, I asked "May I ask who is calling?" He mumbled something under his breath and hung up.  LOL

Always calls saying it is "Sam" from Google Quality control in a heavy Indian Accent. I have continuously asked him not to call here anymore and they continue to do so. They have asked for the attorney and if he isn't here they hang up on me. Super sketchy and annoying.

We got the same exact call. Just as you described. Definitly a scam!

Man in a heavy indian accented called from "Google Quality Control" to "verify" our business information. After pressing for more info, he then said he was calling from "Bridge City google quality control." He asked for some information and said we would recieve a verification follow up call or something like that to verify everything they had just verified? Weird. We got a few robo calls reading a code after that then the indian man called again. And again. and again. They don't seem to be taking no for an answer but I'm exptemely suspicisous as to why they are trying to collect this data from us. I know a google verification code (similar if not exactly like the robo calls we got following this) is needed to verify our business on GMB. I'm gussing that's what they're after... Creating fraud listing under our name.
