Scam...they sent me a text message about an HR issue and I'm retired LOL

Received the following text: "Brooke A, We urge you to an agents no later than August 28th 5PM this case is being closed & filed as non compliant Case ID:2024-94232   866-232-6960"

Scam. Said a court of Riverside case my employer. I am retired. I have no employer.

SPam text fishing threatened that I'm noncompliant, notice issued to you & your employer.

got a scam text that says final notice, case# 2021-xxxxx Updated to Non-Compliant. notice issued to you & your employer. Contact is no longer required, but no idea because the next above from this was to a different person as well and to call this number 877-595-5930

Received a text from this number and it read final notice was issued case #2024-***** status change non compliant. contact 866-679-0187 no later than 5 pm October 10th. Except I don't have any open cases and the case number does not exist.

My says noncompliant Oct 18th and they left no company name. Who are these dummies?

Called and just texted me this:
JACQUELINE Case # 2024-103750: Documents will be hand delivered 11/14/2024 between 8AM and 4PM,  To make any changes call 866-307-5818- had a voicemail from someone named George Perez who could barely speak English tell me last week they were hand delivering papers to my home or employer. I am self employed. They never came. Nothing in the ring camera at home from last week either.  SCAM !

Received text, for a “case” I’ve been receiving calls and voicemails about for 7 years, named person is completely unknown to me. Text said “Final notice re-sent today Case# 2024-232344 JENNIFER OGLE  Please complete documents & return no later than December 13th, 2024, 866-574-7597”

I've been getting calls saying a process server is coming to serve me a supoena to go to court for a bill I paid over a year ago. They keep saying that I'm going to be charged with failure to appear. Then yesterday they call saying I would be served today. I waited all day and nothing then a text message from 209-432-6826 just came in stating  -  "Final notice re-sent today. Please complete documents & return no later than Decemver 23rd, 2024-100780 866-574-8617"  I then called that number and the same man that's been threatening me with legal action answered! This 866 number is not the one that I have been communicating with him (Michael Epstein from Thompson & Associates) on previously and he acted surprised I called and said that he knew nothing about the text or who sent it or what the documents were! They even sent the exact same text message to my handicapped son who called me freaking out. This is a very shady company.  Reverse look up says the number is owned by Wynona Rodgers who lives in Clovis, CA.

Received text claiming to be a friend, to my business number.  No one in California would have my business number.

Same as others, except I know the person they texted me about. My exes mother who used my cell number for a week until my ex got her a new phone over a decade ago. AND. She’s been dead for almost a decade. This woman is gonna haunt me forEVEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR

Got this with my brother as the individual.  I called because I knew it was BS.  Told the dude not to send any other messages and he called me paranoid and told me I needed meds.  No real law office is going to do that.  Don’t call for this scam.

First I'll state that Bailey is my middle name. Now the text read as follows...

"Bailey lastname Attempt Complete. (current address with no town, state or zip) Documents undeliverable. Contact 877-271-3212 Case 2024-227xxx"

I called the number and she asked for the case number and then asked if that was my name. I said "sort of" she then rattled off that it was for an Old Navy credit card that I opened when I was 18. I am now 36. I asked her if she was aware that what she was calling about was a 16 year old debt that's been off my credit report for at least 8 years and she stated that she was but according to the contract that I signed that they could still sue me.

Statute of limitations has passed and I have never admitted to owing the debt. Thanks, but no thanks.

Sent me a text message with this case number 2025-××××, saying they sent a final notice to my address, and I never got a damn thing, gave me this number to call back ASAP.
