I received a call on my unlisted residential phone that has been on the federal do not call list since it first started many years ago. The caller ID said that there was no name listed. This is very likely a criminal scam out to get your personal information or worse.

I called this number back only to find there was an automated message stating that the number is not in service and to verify the number the number dialed was correct and call again.

They keep calling, but no one is there when I answer.  They've probably moved on to the next sucker before I can get the phone out of my pocket!

They've called my office number at least three times today, nothing on the other end and goes dead after a few seconds. What a pain in the tail!!

As with others.  Call, but no one at other end.  Usually don't answer w/o Caller ID letting me know who ios there.  This is why.

Credit card scam.  I hope the people doing these calls get what's coming to them.  I block them and they have yet another line to call from.  It should be illegal to be able to call people from phones that don't have any form of accountability on the other end.

Multiple calls received from this number. This is becoming a volatile communication occurance.

I have had two call from this number today too my business phone.  I have caller ID and did not answer. I have had four scam calls so far today. I have gotten to the point if it is not a local incoming call I do not answer.

When they say nothing & / or hang up - they are likely verifying that your ph. no. is active. Since only 1 in 5 of all possible ph. #'s are valid - they package the confirmed valid #'s & sell them to scumlicitors, saving them from wasting 80 % of their time on invalid calls

Have received calls at work from this number at least every two hours yesterday and today.  When I answer the phone there is silence on the other end.  I will be ignoring calls from this number from now on.

Dead air and then disconnected.

Many calls per day with recorded message.  Not sure how to stop it.

They called, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I called back and got a recording that the number was "out of service".   Each time I get one of these calls I save the number with the name "Spam"...next time I see them call, I ignore them.

Received the call....dead air.  called back and was told number was not in service.

I keep getting a call at least one a day from this number.  Nobody answers and when called the message is "this number is not in service".

how to i stop this? it's ridiculous!
