This is a scam! They never answer the phone when you call them back, and they do not leave a message. Do not answer their call, fraudulent activity suspected.

Called at 5:50 am and woke us up on a Saturday morning.  Didn’t answer.  Clearly, a robodialed call. Ugh.

Got this phone in the morning and when I called this phone back, nobody answers ! I doubt it is a scam too.

Claims to represent the California Sheriff & Police League. trying to solicit financial aid.

I answered and the man on the line blurted out a name like Ronald? I said no, he said is this Ronald? I said no then he abruptly hung up. I am very sure it was some kind of a scam call trying to ascertain by voice or name who I was and if I could be preyed upon. Anyway, the number is blocked now.

I got a call at 5:40 a.m. Which woke me up. Have received several calls since. This is a scam because they say Microsoft will be closing down. I live in Washington and I know better.

Ask the guy which police agency's he represents and "if" he gives you some names call those angencys.  They'll tell you it's a scam. Now try to call the guy back and "if" he answers ask him for his physical address.

Scammers. Premise is raising money for police charity. Block the number, they will have a new one next time but don't fall for this.

Phone rang, unknown number, didn't answer.  No voice mail left.  From other searches, appears to be yet another robocall scam - this time trying to solicit donations for a police support group?  Maybe?

Whatever - scammers suck and should just drop off the face of the planet.  Telemarketing is NOT a valid job choice no matter where you live.  Flip burgers, pump gas, sell stuff at a store.  Telemarketing has changed in the last 50 years and they all are nothing but scammers and rip-off thieves.

well telemarketing was always about scamming people over the phone. However these people are not telemarketers. Telemarketers sell things (hence the word market in the name).

Robot voice asked for me by name.  How do they know my name if I am unlisted?  Unbelievable.

Just called my cell phone and asked for my spouse by name.  Then he went into his spiel and I said NOOOOOOO! and hung up  California Sheriff league or something like that.  Reported to the free call blocker.
FYI this phone number is not registered to any US phone company as of today.  Some police related "charity" probably scam.  Call back and get recording THANK YOU FOR CALLING THE FUNDRAISING CENTER.  WE ARE UNABLE TO RETURN YOUR CALL AT THIS TIME..."
