I got repeated phone calls from these [***] telling me that I have to return their call because it's very important.

Got a call from this number.  I could hardly understand them they spoke very fast.  I picked up on urgent and lawyer.  I've been getting quite a few scam calls lately, so I'm going to guess this one is too.  Most legit companies will send info by mail as well as phone.  I'll wait and see if anything comes in the mail.

Received phone call telling me to call back asap since it was a time sensitive matter.  If I didn't have my lawyer or myself call woman said she felt sorry for me.

They called saying that I needed a lawyer etc. I called back, the guy says it's the Treasury Department. Then I say, "Treasury" and he hangs up the phone. I've tried to call back. It only goes to a vm that states "all officers are busy". I'm saying it's a scam because of how they yell and threaten. It seems to be in an effort to scare you into revealing information to steal from you.

We received a message from these guys. I called back and the guy clearly had an accent, yet his name was James Scott. He was rude, loud, and threatening. Said we were going to jail and needed to get a lawyer for tax evasion on our 2009 taxes.

I called once and spoke with another poor English speaking gentleman who said get a lawyer and then hung up.
I called right back and got another poor English speaking person who got increasingly rude , said EFF YOU, and hung up
said they were going to send "The U.S. Police" to my door.
and claimed they were from "The Department of Legal Affairs for the US Treasury"

Woman with strong accent said it was very important and time sensitive. Myself or my lawyer should call back.
