Person claims to be with the department of legal affairs and there is currently legal action being taken against my name.
They urged me to call back immediately and exercise my legal right for an attorney.
Person called themselves Robin Smith and had a very heavy foreign accent....could hear call center in background.

Same as Shawn except the name this time was Steve Robbins.

Same as above, except the name was Steve Robinson from Dept. US Treasury Enforcement Act.
Total Scam!

Same kind of call from "Steve Robinson" today. Scam!

Got the same call on February 2nd from 209-898-7350. Said name was Steve Robinson from the department of legal affairs. Said there was a legal case against my name. Also had a very foreign accent.  Said if I didn't respond that I could be in a big mess. I saved the message.

Got the same vm message this afternoon from Steve Robinson from the department of legal affairs/internal revenue (2/3/15). Said that there was a legal case against me and I need to consult my lawyer. Called him at the number he left on the vm,  Said he was going to transfer me to another officer. I asked him what this was all about, he said I should know what the call was about. I told him I did not have time to talk to him but I will call him tomorrow evening. He said if I do not call them in the morning I will be in big trouble or something like that. I told the Steve to go jump into the lake and hung up the phone on him.

The message is from a Steve Robinson from Department of Legal Affairs. Said he was giving me a verbal warming about a legal case against me. I called the number he left on the voicemail and nobody answered. Someone call me back 15 minutes later at 6:55pm 2/3/2015. I asked what the legal case was about and he said I should have gotten a letter about what this was all about. Told him I did not receive any letter and am just hearing about a legal case against me for the first time. He said that was my business but he has proof I had received the letter that was sent to me. His tone was arrogant and he was screaming at me. He was going to transfer me to another officer but I told him I did not have time to talk but would call them back tomorrow evening. He said I had to call them by tomorrow morning or I will be in big trouble. I told him that I will not call them tomorrow morning and then I hung up on him.
