BEWARE:  This caller is trying to access your computer, get into it actually!  Says he's with IT Solutions and has been getting reports from my computer that there are problems.

Then he wants to get you to open your computer up to him by getting to the "Run" screen     (windows key and r key) then he wants you to type event vwt.  This could open up all of my critical info to him I believe.    i asked him again who he was with Dell? and he said Microsoft.  I have a good program to get out my malware, etc., so of course doubted his call.   I asked him for an 800 number but he gave me this one- 209 920 6161.  It could be fake number cause my caller ID just says "out of area" and he could've told me anything.  The point is, don't get sucked into his story.  He did have a foreign accent.

DO NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.  IF YOU BELIEVE HIM CALL MICROSOFT YOURSELF AND HAVE THEM WALK YOU THROUGH OR ACTUALLY GET INTO YOUR "RUN" BOX AND SEE FOR THEMSELVES.  DON'T LET SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T EVEN KNOW YOUR NAME AND CAN RANDOMLY CALL PHONE NUMBERS GET INTO YOUR COMPUTER.

The call I received actually came from 253-802-0300. They wanted access to my computer.  When I asked what company he was with he said Tech Squad USA.  I asked for a number that I could call to verify what he said.  He gave me the number 209-920-6161.

When I called this number, it was answered by another guy with a foreign accent.  I asked if there was someone from the USA I could talk to.  He claimed there was an office in Gastonia, NC but when I asked for their number, he wanted my e-mail address so he could send it to me.  I said "no, just give me the number" and he hung up.  

Later I tried calling the 253-802-0300 number.  It wouldn't go through.  Probably part of the same scam.

BEWARE of this GUY. Got a call from Beaverton, Oregon. He has a foreign accent and told me that he works with Freedom Technology. The authorized Service Center for Windows computer. He asked me to turn on my computer and guide me to remove the errors that will corrupt my operating system, but I did not do it. He said that this problem is occuring on ALL Windows computer. Asked him for phone number that I can call back and he gave me 209-920-6161. He said he is in San Francisco California and only available at 10:00AM to 5:00PM Pacific Standard Time.

Said from Microsoft got into my computer. Added remote service and locked computer with a password. Then hour later the computer had nothing but blue screw,
