- kay kay| 1 replyCalled stating he was from medical Dept. I was approved compensation from a surgery long time ago. When I replied haven't had surgeries he started asking numerous questions ... how many children I had, if any with birth defects. If ever taken antidepressant medication or has anyone in my family? I refused to answer any of his questions. I told him your purpose in calling was regarding a surgery and anything else is irrelevant and I hung up. He had a accent, sound like Indian. I could tell he was becoming very annoyed when I started asking him questions and wouldn't cooperate. He also so kept saying, do you understand what I'm saying? You are entitled to compensation.

- Janelle Rees| 3 replies13 calls from this numberSays he is Michael Smith...not likely...heavy Indian accent...calling from the medical compensation department but won't say of what company. Told him his name wasn't Michael Smith. He isn't from Texas, I didn't have any surgery and remove my number and stop calling....he hung up

- JamesHi, frustration level here! No matter what I have done, no real resolution. Add 208-400-5555; 786-708-3820; and 304-292-1993 to the list of Do NOT Answer! I have like 75 numbers in various contacts in our BB devices as Do Not Answer-SCAM or whatever. Still get calls from numbers and it pops up when they call so not answerin' them does not solve that problem. 99% never leave VM nor caller ID does not give name or business. Phone companies pass buck, FTC will not really prosecute cuz most callers are outright foreign from another country and if US citizens, then they are protected as racial minorities. Take care and enjoy the weekend!
- Caller: SCAM???
- MaryI received calls from this number on 9/15 and 9/16. Since I didn't recognize the number, I did not pick up. They did not leave a message.

- melI had a random text on my phone that I didn't send to this number saying "can't talk now. Call me later?" I didn't send this yet my phone said I did.

- C. EdwardGet Daily calls from 210-319-5028. Know it is a land line from the San Antonio, TX area. That's all I have.
- R WhiteAnother Indian scam call. Claimed to be "John" from the Medical Compensation Dept. When I asked Department of what company he simply started repeating himself. I keep the, on the phone for as long as possible on the theory that at least they aren't scamming someone who will fall for it. It's actually kinda fun playing with them. My final response is simply "yeah right, Achmed. Get a real job."
- Laura replies to krystalOh my. I got a call before and stated that I have asked multiple times not to call. I asked to speak to a supervisor. This Tom Williams who could barely speak English said he was. I said then you know it is illegal to keep calling after I have asked you to stop. He said he would call me every minute of every day so F____ you. I hung up and he immediately called back. I declined the call and them blocked the #. I called police and they said he did nothing criminal. There was nothing they could do. So upsetting.
- MsnzI've had 15 calls in 2 days. I said I didnt understand the caller and he needed to speak English, he said he was speaking English, I said it is not any kind of English that I can understand, he then got me a supervisor who had even less command of the English language. I did ask how they got my number and name and they said the Texas Department of Health. Doesn't HIPPA prevent this kind of information being distributed? I said I was going to call Texas Department of Health, caller immediately got off the line.

- Unsettled| 1 replyI received a call yesterday and the person (with an accent) stated he was calling from Washington, and I was randomly chosen from the government to receive free money, grant money, $9,000 that I would not need to payback and can use in anyway I need; pay bills, buy a new car, payoff student loan, etc... I asked if he was serious!? The government is giving out money, giving out FREE money? Why would they do that? He asked what part I did not understand? I ask how I was randomly chosen out of everyone else, he stated it was a random drawing and so long I am a good citizen and he went through a list; pay my taxes, no criminal record, etc... I qualified. He then wanted to verify my information and provided me with my name, I stopped him and informed him that I did not verify that this phone call was legitimate yet... Again, he stated that he was calling from Washington DC, blah, blah, blah... I asked why, if he is calling from Washington, that my phone says he is calling from San Antonio, TX? He then said he is not calling from TX, he's calling from Washington DC. I argued with him and said that I can see and read my phone which shows his telephone number, (210) 319-5028 and that it says he is calling from San Antonio, TX, he argued and said he is calling from Washington and that they route their calls...(Yeah, right! From San Antonio, TX?). I then asked to be taken off their calling list, to not call me anymore...he said that he would not, and when I asked, "Why," he said he will call me every day. I asked why he would say something like that, he said, "Because I love you," and that he will call me every day, every hour of every day. I called him a dumb ass, hung up and immediately added the number to my call block list. I am not a paranoid personality type, but I am sure he also has my address if he had my name and number...and it is very unsettling that he would turn into a weird stalker type at the end of the call. He must be getting frustrated working in the call center...I could hear the other people in the background.
- Caller: Government, Washington DC
- MelissaCalled stating he was with State Medical Department of American Systems. Heavy indian accent (not American Indian) Asked all kinds of personal medical questions, I refused to answer and told him I wasnt interested and hung up then blocked the number

I need your account info so we can get you your workers compensation money. Said not happening I don't have any compensation claims. Caller became irate using extreme profanity and throwing around multiple F bombs. Told him this was not acceptable or professional and he I formed me he would speak to me in whatever effing manner he chooses and to give him the effing account info. Told him to stop scamming people and never call my number again. They have called every day since then.
