- virginia replies to ritchie| 1 replyThis same number called me and asked for someone else. I said that I didn't know the person and they said that they needed my permission to take the number off their list and charge the person with fraud and other stuff I don't remember. I don't know if he thought I was lying, but I said I don't care, I don't know the person.
- Denver replies to virginiaThanks for posting your comments as the same number has been calling me. I know now not to answer as it is a meaninless call. I appreciate when people speak out and warn others otherwise I would have fell victim to these pranksters!!

- DCaller ID says "County Server." I live in Ohio and this call apparently originates from Texas, given the area code! I answered and no one said anything. I said "Hello!" loudly and still nothing. I told whoever was on the other end to stop calling if they weren't going to say anything and hung up!
- VJust got a call from them. When I answered, no one spoke on the other end, so I hung up.
- E| 1 replyJust got a call from them. When I answered, no one spoke on the other end, so I hung up, and when I called back, it went straight to vm
- MonumentThey called today, asked for me by name (or someone that can speak on my behalf). Said that a "formal complaint" had been reported and if I didn't want to be formally served papers, I'd need to take down an 800 number and a reference number. I told them I wasn't interested in writing anything down and if they were going to serve me, go ahead. Can't get blood from a stone.
- Call type: Debt collector
- PaulaThe woman said her company was Docu-serve and that if my brother didn't respond in one hour there would be a hearing held without his presence. As I questioned her about it, her story fell apart. Like others have said, it appears that she is from a collection agency.

- Nobody's foolSomeone named Jennifer called my phone to state that I had been given as a reference. She went on to ask if I knew "XX" which by the way is me. I entertained her "tom foolery" for a bit, pretending to be extremely hard of hearing and pressing her with repetitive questions such as "You're from what agency and you're looking for who?" After I made her repeat herself about four or fives times, I guess she became aggravated and told me that "XX" (me) would have a charge filed against her for fraud. I then proceeded to tell Jennifer the person she was looking for had been deceased for several months (please forgive me) and that she owed me money as well...so when you get yours, please send me my cut as well. She was speechless and of course I couldn't hold my laughter so I BAHAHAHAHAHA'd in her ear, told her to have blessed day and she promptly hung up. That'll teach you!!! YOU CAN'T OUTSLICK THE SLICKSTER :-)
- Caller: Docu-Serve
- V replies to ECalled me again. Same thing as last time. I answered, no one replied, and they hung up. No idea how I wound up on this cuckoo's list...
- CDebt Collector. After repeatedly getting calls and hung up on once I answered, I called from a blocked number and spoke politely to the female who answered. Took a risk and gave them my number to see if I could be removed. She looked up my number in the system and said that it was in reference to a specific individual who had listed me as a contact. Either way, I said I didn't know that person, and she said that it's possible I was incorrectly listed and said I'd be removed. Let's see if this works...
