They called and claimed to be a bail bondsman that wanted to serve for garnishment. I told them I never had a garnishment and they put me on hold, after several minutes I hung up.
They then texted me and then texted my ex-wife (we've been divorced for over 10 years).

I got a call also said I owe money from a bank that I don't deal. It Fraud be careful don't give them anything.

Bail bondsmen do not serve anyone.  Bail Bondsmen simply provide the 10% bail for people to get out of jail.  If those people do not show up then the bail bondsman either collects on the collateral that was put up or goes after the criminal.

This is soo crazy. I also started receiving text messages telling me my account is overdue and immediate action is required. The number listed to callback was 210-444-2942. The guy who answered just started spewing out crap about a loan I took out in 2015 and said I intentionally attempted to defraud a bank. Based on what he was saying it sounded like a payday loan type situation. When I asked to have info send to me in writing about this he became rude. Saying I was trying to play dumb since I obviously know what a loan is. He said I don't rectify this immediately a judgment will be issued against me. I said well I'll get an attorney and we'll see about that. He hung up immediately

Texting and calling me about a payday loan I never took out in 2015, told me I run from my debts and I obviously don’t face them and that they’re going to take me to court 😂 then he tried to Insult me it’s obviously a scam

I am getting the same text messages it started last week …I don’t have any loans or pay day loans my message today said “ we’ve made several attempts to get in contact with you in regards to your outstanding balance. I need to speak with you today or your account be frozen for payment unfortunately we do not respond via text but call us at 2104417894 call to remove number.”

I don't know who they are but I told them that I was going to give their number to my son in law who is the chief US MARSHALL.

This just happened to me. Said I took out a payday loan in 2015 and needed to pay 1400$. When. I told them I’m not doing anything about this because their info makes no sense they told me they would be reaching out to the county for writing a fraudulent check. I said ok thank you for the info. He said well aren’t you just “dumb as f***!” And hung up.

Yeah, right! Never give any information over the phone especially responding to a text! I worked for lawyers for years and they always tell me never give any information over the phone or give ANY payment information over the phone. If I bill collector calls you and you happen to speak to them, TELL THEM TO SEND YOU A BILL IF THEY KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT YOU. PUT IT IN WRITING, if it's a legit bill, than I'll pay it. For all we know these people could be scammers from Africa.

Got text from 206-804-2626, same thing....several attempts to contact you regarding overdue balance.  Account now at risk, call 945-293-6710.   BS and total scam.  Not even calling ...just block these numbers.

Keep receiving calls and texts from 531-365-0270, 210-444-2942 and 213-415-3206 saying that I have a debt from some payday loan place from 2015 that wasnt paid, which is incorrect.
