- Ronda| 1 replyClaimed I took out a payday loan in 2015 under my previous married name (that I have not had in over 10 years) and yet I have NEVER taken out a payday loan in my life. I requested proof of the supposed loan and they claim they already sent it and don't have to send it again. I told them I have never recieved any paperwork on this or any other supposed loan. I reminded them it's federal law to send any proof of debt to anyone requesting it. That's when this person got very mouthy and called me a lazy b!+{# and other colorful names. I just laughed which passed him off more. Clearly a scam!!!!

- William B| 1 replyI received a text telling me they need to talk to me about an urgent matter ... then when I called I was informed I owed someone named Easy Pay (or EZ Pay) about a payday loan from 2015 ... they even knew the last 4 digits of my social. After reding these notes about this number I have realized that I AM and EVERYONE who receives these texts are being scammed! I haven't worked for anyone in over 20 years and haven't EVER taken out a payday loan in my life. I am reporting this company to the FBI and will also travel to San Antonio and file complaints with the San Antonio police department which is where this company is operating from! I suggest others who receive this message to do the same!

- C chisolm replies to RondaJust got same exact call from them, same exact words. When I questioned them, same answer, "already sent paperwork to me." Not, never heard of them. Anyway they got pissed, hung up on me.
- BigA replies to William B#1. The FBI does not care about your phone calls.
# 2. This company is not located in Texas. I don't know where you got that idea from.
There are a lot more company names that I have to into this report but it will give you enough information to properly report the calls.
You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it. Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):

Everything else you need to know follows including at least two or more federal and state agencies where you should report their criminal activities.

Mark Daniels from MAC
Website says that they are in Florida: https://mediationac.org/
The address is a virtual office, favorite of criminal organizations pretending to be debt collectors.
The BBB gives them an F rating with 153 complaints (BBB removed 58 complaints for some reason) and 31 negative reviews and alerts as of 3/28/23: https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/pembroke-pines/prof ... r-0633-90432086
BBB also lists a residential address for them: 9751 SW 12th St Pembroke Pines, FL 33025-3654 Which is registered to Thu & Tham Nguyen and may be a rental.

The Florida Dept. of State has no registration on file for either a corporation or a fictitious name. This means that they are operating illegally.
The Florida Dept. of Financial Regulation has nothing on record for the business name or the name listed on the BBB as the manager. This means that they are again operating illegally.
It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified. If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.
First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file complaints with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
