This number called my husband claiming someone apply for a Citibank bank credit card and needed more info. I called back after they had been calling him for pass two days. She (Ava) claim she was the fraud dept and asked for my husband ss# I refused to give it to her so she gave me a phone number and a address in Texas so that I could call or go in person to talk to the manager about my husband acct. I looked up the address and the number and its not in Tx it's in California (800-222-1234)
This is all fake there is no such number or address in Tx!!
Other number they call you from is 800-950-5114 stating their Citibank and its not.

This is actually the Citicard Fraud center. They called, left a voicemail, answered when I return the call. It's legit

Left a VM they wanted to verify some purchase on my Costco/Visa card and I don't even have that card. They said I needed to call 855-375-7048

Called our office and said it was in regards to card services, after she gave me her 866 number I asked what it was specifically in regards to and she said card services, so I said no thanks and hung up. Then I blocked her number. Wasn't good enough at presenting her scam to elaborate on the "details". Too bad.

Called and said charge was attempted on Citicard and I needed to call back with my account number - couldn't hardly understand the person - Asian I guess, with poor English.

Be careful - they sound professional - they clearly recorded Citibanks phone tree, and have their own phone tree setup - they have background noise that sounds like chatter in a call center.  They ask "What's your SSN" - they can't find you - They ask "what's your name & address" - oh my gosh, they STILL can't find you (Of course I gave them bogus info) - "what's your CC number" - then I ask to speak to a shift supervisor, wait a minute, then they come back on the line and say "I have my shift supervisor on the line", then line goes blank.  And, I've called them back several times since then, giving them the run around.  Same crap, every time.

At first I thought it was a phishing scam. They left a message on my voicemail, so I went to the company website instead and called their credit dept. It was in fact legit. Someone applied for a credit card using my social. Looks like it's happening a lot. Contact one of the 3 credit agencies to put a 90-day fraud protection.

This was Citibank verifying payee I added today was legit. I spoke personally to a rep who did NOT ask for any info, other than to make sure it was in fact who added a payee earlier today.

I recently applied for the Costco Visa card (issued by Citi) and had to call them at a legit 877 number to confirm some things on my application. Shortly after we had finished, I received a call from this (210) number, and it was the same service rep that I had talked to. She had forgotten to ask me one last thing. If it hadn't been the exact same person from 2 minutes earlier calling me, I wouldn't have given them any info of course.

This appears to be a legitimate number used by Citibank customer service. However, it's still possible for someone to spoof this number. In general it's just good practice if you receive a call about a credit card you hold, to explain that you will call them back, and then do so via a number you know to be good, usually on the back of your card.

Caller from Citibank said it is important matter need to speak to me. Fraud!!! I don’t have Citibank account. But, how come they have my phone# and name. Woooo terrible!!!!!

They called me & I blocked them so two minutes later they called my husband.

this is a legit call from citibank. they left a vm with a 800 number which belongs to citi, I called back and they have some questions on an app i submitted a few days ago

Young woman called saying she was from citibank. I told her i didn't recognize this number and hung up. hard to understand her timid voice at first. be careful for fraudsters. i have spoken with citibank fraud and this is not them.
