Complete scam company - letting Google lknow-

Call and hang up. Major source of these calls is from Craigslist ads. Fake ads are posted in every section. When you reply for that job, car or free toaster, they get your info. They often just copy and paste info from other ads, so impossible to tell. Craigslist is the problem.

I received a call from 210-819-4651 with an automated recording- "you have not completed your registration for Google please stay on the line" - or push 9 to be removed from the list.  I pushed 9 and hung up. Google has no reason to be calling me so I was suspicious about this call, thinking it was someone checking #s for a 'sucker list' (how I wish my hubby hadn't answered the phone) - so I did a phone number search at 411.com and the # belongs to: Bandwidth SMSEnabled VoIP in San Antonio, TX.  I am on the do not call ist so I will be reporting this.

As far as I know, I don't even have a Google listing. They call on my non-published work cell phone. This is the second time in the past three days, but the first time was a completely different number.

Unsolicited business calls to HOME-BASED businesses are illegal. Read Rules and Regulations Implementing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991, 70 Fed. Reg. 19,330, 19,331 (April 13, 2005), affirmed by cases such as Clauss v. Legend Securities, Inc., 4:2013cv00381, Iowa Southern District Court. If they're calling your home-based business and its number is on the do-not-call list, you can sue them just like anyone else and make AT LEAST $500 per call. If they're using and autodialer (as they almost always do) to call your cell phone, even if you use it for a home-based business and it's on the DNC list, they're in deep doo-doo. The penalties for that are at least $1,000 per call!

Called twice in one hour.  First time, did not answer.  Second time, no one spoke.  Static/silence.  Hung up.

Idiots call several times/week. I hang up every time. Called at 1030 on a Sunday morning. Illegal calls but US govt is inept and only prosecutes high profile cases. No justice for regular folks.

Called at 10 a.m. on 11/29.  Left no message on my voice mail.  If you call it back, it says the number has been disconnected.  Caller ID just says LOCAL.  I'm on do not call list, so will report them and block them.

Robo-call w/ Msg. "Don't hang up!  We have an urgent message for your business . . ."  That silly opening was followed by a pitch for a "Business Listing" and the usual "push 1 for more information and 2 to be taken off our list."

This particular call was the 5th telemarketing call -- within past last four hours -- to my Sprint mobile phone.  It would appear that either my business number has been sold to multiple telemarketers --  or a single telemarketer is having an exceptionally  busy morning.

Recordings made and all calls -- plus transcripts and spoof numbers used -- all orwarded to FTC.

They have a hundred different numbers. Just get a phone blocker and block them. Everytime they call Mr. Number hangs up on them. 210-819-4651 has called me many times, now I just block them.

Your information about Craig's list is incorrect. I have never even looked at Craig's list, let alone placed an ad to sell something on it. These scammers use a computer dialing system that picks a block of phone numbers and dials them all numerous times until a set time period (days or weeks) has passed, then they move on to the next block of numbers to harass. You then get a break from the harassment for a while until the computer selects the block of numbers containing your number again, then it starts all over.

Called me twice so far today, once at 11:11 and again at 12:05 PM. I'd like to plant a size 12-D boot in their "google" to see how they like my "update" method.

I answered it professionally and they hung up. How rude!

Called cell phone. All calls to me from 210 area code are spoofed/spam/scam/robo, so I ignored it. No message left. Based on comments above, I've now blocked it.
