Caller I.D. said AT&T. Caller said his name is Shaun/Shawn even though he had a very obvious Indian accent. Tried convincing me that AT&T is starting up a TV service for only $49 a month, free DVR, 200 HD channels including premium channels like HBO, etc. Told me to get my bill and see if I’m paying more than that a month, seemed really irritated by me telling him that I’m happy with my service already and am not going to switch.

AT&T already has a TV service.  It's called DirecTV.

6/30/20 9:25 PDT  ID read "potential spam" so didn't answer.  Oddly enough, no message left.  Happy month-end.

Spoofed name and number. As soon as I hear that heavy accent claiming to be ATT, the number is immediately routed to my block list.

Called few minuets ago, did not answer, left no message, now blocked!

Caller ID = "ATT," which was fake. "Paul" with Indian accent was offering a large discount on DirecTV service, $62.50 per month. Do a web search for "prepaid card scam" and "AT&T" and you can read the details. So this was a scam.

Spoofed Number and ID - Its not ATT, just a rather clumsy scam to try get you to either you credit card info and/or you authorized payment for a non-existent service.

I work for ATT, so I answered to see what the called was about and a little fun with them before ending the call.

Guy said he was calling from ATT.  Could not understand him, heavy accent.  Asked him to slow down.  He did. He asked if I liked my att and direct tv.  I ended the call knowing he was a fake called.  I said sent me a letter

Spoofed number. Obscene call. Guy said he was from ATT. Said called to talk with me. When asked in regards to what, he said just to talk with me because he liked my voice and he was my fan.

Called and asked if I had lost my virginity and wanted to text with me.

This was "Sam" from AT&T, with a heavy Indian accent and a noisy call-center in the background.

The first time this "ATT" number called me, I let the voicemail service handle the idiot; they hung up--oh how rude! I then saw on here that this was a LIVE scammer--likely from INDIA ( so folks--DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER BACK! ). Anyway--I just got the same "ATT" number, so I thought I'd have some fun with this guy. The second he spoke--I rapped off perfect French to the idiot. LOL, the poor [***] didn't know what to say and hung up!! Hopefully, that will shut him down from calling me--but I'm ready again SHOULD he call again!!

These call centers from India are jammed with people, calling all over the U.S. and U.K.--trying to rip people off; it's really best you just let them speak to the voicemail system ( be sure NOT to leave a personal call greeting; they don't need to know your name, eh? ).

Said it was AT&T and offering a promotion, DTV, Internet and Phone for $80 a month all I had to do was pre-pay two months... LOL.. NO thanks!   like other customers said pretty heavy accent as well. he saidto call back (888) 427-8002 if I decided to change my mind.

Calls 2 to 4 times a day and leave no message  Hang up after 3 rings or as I pick up the Phone . Could be renewing your car warranty scam or IP address compromised scam ?

Got a call from the number the Caller id was Tellemarketer. Did not leave a message. ATT does have a new ATT TV service that is replacing Direct TV and Uverse.
