Same happened to me, only the creepy part is she nknew my first and last name, and we have an unlisted number. She claimed I owed 23,000 in debt and credit  card debt, and I have no credit card and owe nothing to anyone. Creepy. When I told her that I whad been on the Do Not Call list for over 2 1/2 years, she said she had to go.

They keep calling EVERYDAY! No message and when I do answer I have politely asked that they REMOVE our name and number and please do not call again. She precedes to tell me just today, "Well you enjoy your high interest rates on your debt!" and hung up.. HOLY COW.. we don't even have any credit cards!!! What a scam! BEWARE!

YES!! I keep getting calls from them!! I have asked them to stop many times!

Calls frequently; no name appears and when the answering machine picks up the caller hangs up.
It is very annoying as the caller calls holidays, weekends, and late evenings.  Only once I answered several weeks ago and I asked them to quite calling this number and no response so I quickly hung up, but the calls continue.

I just got a call from this number which read AMER INVESTS on the caller ID.  When I asked how they got my number the rep told me it was through Equifax who gave them my number because my interest rate was above prime.  I  told them I wasn't interested in their service and he said "oh so you're happy with your high rate?"  What a prick.  I told him I was incredibly happy with it, goodbye.

I was getting callls from this number. No more since I rerported them to thw FTC.  If you want to help stop these fraudulent phone calls, report all suspicious activity to the Federal Trade Commission by calling 1-877-FTC-HELP.

I wish these idiots would STOP calling me 50 times a day.  I have a new baby and every time these %#$&*@ call they wake him up!  When I pick up the phone they hang up....wtf???

This number is following the exact same protocol with us, calling, hanging up and when i call back it goes to a busy signal.  I remember a call a while ago where somebody was trying to say something about lowering my apr on my credit card, when i asked what credit card, they could not tell me, and i said i was happy with my credit card apr and they asked me if i was sure.  That was that, but since then, we have gotten phone calls from this number usually twice a day, usually around 730p and then hang ups.  Be careful that your answering machine does not have your name on it, as they must be fishing for information since that seems to be their pattern of hanging up when we answer.  Not sure what else they could be doing by just hanging up???

I received 3 calls in a matter of 4 hours from this company.  "Mike" was very arrogant.  Asked for someone who doesn't live here, then told me he could help me lower my interest rates on our credit cards.  How does he even no we have any?  And, who did he think he was talking to.  Never asked our name.  I am really sick and tired of these people calling us.  Someone somewhere needs to end these useless calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have started getting phone calls from this number, once again.  I have not picked up the phone and I will not.  Thanks for the heads up on these characters.

They called me twice - last night and today...last night when my answering machine picked up a woman said "is Sylvia there?" then hung up.....today a man's voice just said, "Hello? Hello?" then hung up....when I noticed the call's from Texas and I don't know anyone in Texas, I have no interest in talking to anyone LOL.

is driving me crazy- calls 3 or more times per day!  I even spoke w/ someone yesterday and asked to have my name off the list, but they called again last night and this morning!

calls and never leaves a message.  9 calls in one afternoon.   im getting very angry.

Got call from VERY pushy woman, asked for my wife's name, proceeded to tell me she had my (wife's?) credit report and that I owed $17,000 in credit card bills (false... And why was she telling my wife's supposed info to whoever it was (me) that answered the phone.) Talked over me when I tried to talk, hung up on me when I started to explain that I wasn't interested.

The number captured on the phone, 210-892-1136, came up as not in service, so these guys are spoofing a number to fool caller ID's. (Had the name "American Investments")

SOUNDS LIKE A PHISHING SCAM TO get you to reveal personal info.

Report calls from this number to Federal Trade COmmission at 1-877-FTC-HELP or 1-877-FTC-HELP..

someone called saying that im eligible to get lower rates on my credit card. i said i wasn't interested. she said that she doesn't see why i wouldn't be interested because this is a courtesy call that only certain people get so i should be thankful that i got a phone call. then she asked me if i have any credit cards that are over 13%. i said no, then she said that im not eligible then she hung up the phone.

I just told the guy I was interested and that I just needed to call back. Here's the info they gave me:

Calls about 5-6 times per day, every day; no one ever says anything, no recording, nothing.  Ridiculous. It's thoroughly annoying my husband

They are relentlessly calling but won't answer or talk and won't leave a message.  FRUSTRATING. make it stop!!!

Please stop these people.....the phone calls are harassment....many times a day and no one is there when you answer.
