- Caller: ?
- Chaviva| 1 replyGot a call about someone seeing my profile on About.me and how they think they have a "good fit" opportunity ...
- Elizabeth| 1 replyReceived a message from a man named Shawn about an opportunity he had seen on my LinkedIn profile last April. Extension is 114.
- Lisa replies to ElizabethHi,
First I get a call last July from someone named Bernice saying a Cory Parks thought I would be a good fit and then nothing. Now I have someone named Sean Harlan calling me but both profiles are no longer on Linked in and neither is Academic Tech Partners. Fishy to say the least! - Corinna| 2 repliesI also received a couple calls saying they sent me a message through linked in and were interested in a partnership with me. I told them I already have a great job and they said it's not a job just a partnership with Academic Technology.
- Caller: Academic Technology
- jrGot a call with the same reason that they looked my profile on LinkedIn and that I am a good fit. I told them that I am busy and call back in the evening.
- DWalksKeep getting calls from a fishy sounding guy who says I've been discussing a position with someone on Linkedin. I haven't. It's a scam company with a fake pyramid scheme crap gig.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- joneserLeft message about LinkedIn. Total scam. Called my VZW cell phone.
- Mark Fielding| 1 replyTruthfully, I was called on my cell by a really polite man following up on LinkedIn contact I may have had with someone from his company a few months ago.
I simply advised that my profile does not advise that I'm open to considering career opportunities, so any communication I had would have been a polite decline.
He was a gentleman through and through and respectfully ended the call without trying to pimp himself, his company or the role out.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Rosie replies to ChavivaGot the same call saying they saying the same thing. Sounds spammy and vague. Blocking it.
- PJ replies to Mark FieldingI also received a very polite message from a man named Gaylan at ext 124, but the website is password protected so you can't learn any more info about them, no business profile on LinkedIn for either Park Innovations or Park Technologies - and if it looks like a duck...Probably some sort of affiliate or pyramid. Not returning call.
- Skeptical MeI received a polite voicemail from "Park Technologies" saying that he saw my profile on About.me and thought I might be interested in an opportunity within their company. I called back and left a message because the call sounded legitimate and I would possibly know a referral for the recruiter who reached out. I am dubious because I think it's a new recruiter building up his database of talent using an established recruiter's name (Cory Park) to gain a response--a common practice for new tech recruiters.
- Caller: "Park Technologies"
- Jason| 3 repliesI have been a partner with them for 2 years. The company is legit and is providing me with a real opportunity to become a successful entrepreneur and work with an experienced team. Sometimes it can be difficult to understand an opportunity that has such a unique model!
- TimWas called by "Kathleen" today as she continued to beat around the bush I asked what she was trying to sell as she called my medical practice. She shouted at me and hung up.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- RosieWas called by someone saying they had spoken with me a couple of months ago and that they had seen my profile on LinkedIn. Was trying to sell me a business of some sort and that I could use my skills that I have in Real Estate. I made her angry by asking a lot of questions and then I hung up. I blocked their number. Total scam.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Tom replies to Corinna| 1 replySame here. They want to sell you a partnership for $12k - complete and utterly nonsense. I will report them to the FBI, let's see if they can do something.
- ThomasA scam. Hang up on them, report to the FBI.
- Caller: Corey Park / Park Technologies
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Utahn| 1 replyI received a voicemail from Octavia Williams regarding a career opportunity with Park Methodology. She said there is correspondence on LinkedIn about a business opportunity with the company and wanted to see if I wanted more information and if this is something of interest to me. I Googled Park Methodology and nothing shows.
- Caller: Park Methodology
