Caller claimed to be a Police Officer from Buda Texas. Claimed I was reported to be in a hit and run accident in a Walmart Parking lot in Buda. I then asked the description of the vehicle. Told me  the car was owned by my Husband, we don't own a jeep. He claimed I was the hit and run driver I asked him for my drivers license number on the report and the number he gave me was not my TXDL #. He even asked for my Husbands license number which I in return asked him for the license number of my husband it was incorrect as well. When I told him that was not mine TXDL# or my Husbands TXDL# he said "Oh Sorry I must have been given the wrong info and Immediately hung up". Has anyone had a phone call from this number?

This number called MULTIPLE times all in a row (it didn't ring through apparently) and finally left a voicemail. Voicemail claimed to be from Garland Police Department. Stated I was the emergency contact for my spouse and they needed to get in touch with me about my spouse. I did not call back, but got in touch with my spouse who was fine.

I had someone(Eric Bearden) renting a room in my home.   He stop paying rent and left his stuff inside the room.  I decided since he was ignoring my calls and text that I would lock him out.  I received a call from this number and he said he was a police officer.   He informed me that I could not lock him out... It was a 4 minute conversation... He definitely identified his self as a police officer.   I assume Eric knows who is behind this... He is on Facebook from LA Vernia, Tx...

So you took the time to look up a known phone number before going off to rescue your stranded son? Or did you look it up afterwards, despite there being no logical reason to do so?

I think the word you were looking for was "arrested" and not "stranded".

This number called me claiming to be police officer, when I asked for what dept and his badge number , he refused to identify himself. I’m reporting to to FBI , due to the fact that my identity was recently compromised and found on the dark web.
