I got a call on my cell phone from this number. When I answered, the other end disconnected.

i picked up and it disconnected. i also tried calling the number and the recording said it was not in service any longer!

Got a call from this number but it disconnected before I could answer.  No message left.  Turned out to be someone that I knew calling me from a pay phone in Canada!

I got a call last night from this number. When I tried to call the number, it said the call can't go through

They left a message in Arabic and I tried to call them back to find out it was an invalid number.

There is no "000" exchange anywhere in the US. 212 is a NYC area code, but the number is fake.

There is pending legislation that will likely be signed into law by the President this year that will make it a Federal crime to spoof caller ID numbers.

I recieved a call from 212-000-0000, they left a message.It was a man named Dmitry he said he was a financial recruiter on wall street and got my info from Monster.com

did you follow up?  i got the same thing but dont have a number to call him back?

I answered, same thing. found my resume on monster and was calling about a job position, but obviously didnt really look over my resume as he was surprised when I told him I was still in school, something which is in the title of my resume.

I had the same call today from this number but it disconnected when I picked it up ?????

Keep getting calls from 212-000-0000 very anoyning... No message ever left...

I picked up after they called twice today and it was "Maverick Funding" which is a mortgage company. the caller started by saying his name and then "Bam" let's talk about your mortgage and how they could help. When I stated I was not interested he kept pushing til I hung up.

Just added 212 000 0000 to my auto reject list.
I hate this Crap. What a waste of time.

guy claimed to be from the government offering me a grant for 9000 dollars and wanted a one time only deposit of 219.00 dollars. total scam and scum

The same thing just happened to me haha it was a "reward from the government" for being a good citizen
