caller wanted customer service numbers from all my credit cards

Caller would not answer my question for a call back number. Most likely a SCAMMER trying to get some sort or any personal information. They then hung-up the phone on me! Hang-up and do not answer any questions from this phone number!

Called 2-8-09 Began message with "calling about your credit cards" -
then hung up. ( ? )

Got a call from this number just moments ago.  I did not answer.

Got this call, pressed 9, rep said card services, told her I received an automated call, she disconnected the call.

Got a call, no message left.

called;  left message re my credit card account; I shut off.

Just got a call about 20 min. ago, so did several of my neighbors. I told them I had a fraud alert on all my credit cards.  They gave me a call back number for a couple in Florida.  They may have made up the number.  I am going to stop by on my way home from work tomorrow and report it to our local police. We are on a do not call list.  Do not give them any information.  I think I got a call from them about a month ago and when I told them my credit cards had a fraud alert, they hung up.  They are getting better at what they do.

received call from this number, he asked questions, name, address, interest of less than 12-14 percent on credit cards, combined balances more than 3000, then stated he would turn me over to the person in charge of lower interest rates. Was skeptical, should have gone with gut instinct especially since we are on the do-not-call registry.

wanted to give me lower interest on my credit card. when I asked which one, he said my Visa and I asked which Visa. He wanted to verify the info. Yeah Right! Told him to where to go and hung up

Call came in at 11 am. Said New York on caller ID. Did not answer. No message left.

Interesting he leaves no message.  I may as well assume what the posts above me say, scam or want personal information.  I suppose they hope I'm curious and call back. Really.  Figured I'd ask here first.

got this call at 6:17 p.m. 2/10/2009 ... didn't leave message on the answering machine.  Caller id said New York.

caller ID said Name Unavailable, I don't answer those, left no message. I was needing more info so I searched. A scammer of course... they sure got a lot of nerve hangin up on people. I guess they think we're a bunch of dummies... I always let them leave a voice message, if they don't well adieos sucker...

A customer of our company recieved a call from this number saying that she was having trouble with her credit card and they needed to clear up some bad credit with her.  She told them that she did not have a credit card, they insisted that she did.  She asked them for a call back number and they just made a strange noise at her and hung up. She has NO credit cards, so obviously a scam.

I received this number on my caller ID, my number is registered with the National and my State DO NOT CALL LISTS, but apparently these scam callers think they can ignore this law. I am filing a complaint with our State Attorney Generals Office and I suggest that other people getting calls from this number do the same.
