    It's been a long time since I got calls someone with a "000" exchange in their phone number. Maybe last year?

    Just today it started again. I believe these are robo-dialer machines, probably some debt collctors. We get a lot of misadressed mail for from debt collectors even tho we've been at this address for 10 years. We give it back to the mailman, but don't know what to do about the phone.

    Because they use "predictive calling techniques" we think that answering the phone just encourages the robodialers to keep phoning during that time frame?

    We don't belong on their calling list. Anyone we owe, we know personally.
