Caller was Indian asking if I wanted to switch to DISH TV .. I said ^&&^*&^ !

This is the crap that I got!!!

Same as the others, barely understandable attempt at English asking about Dish Network.

Has called several times over the last couple of days.
I have not answered the phone.
I am on a do not call list and this is annoying.

I mentioned I was on the national do not call list; their response "What do you want me to do about it?"
They then asked what law says they can't call me; then asked me for the FTC do not call registration number.
Horray for forged called id.

Received a text message on my cell phone, costing me minutes, from a number that is supposed to be local, 806-477-2101, a landline phone located in Amarillo, Randall Co., Texas, Southwestern Bell line.  One web service ID'd this as "e.g. 212-123-4567".  Text message was an obvious spam of suggestive nature so hardly likely to have originated from a local land line.  Very irritating!

I received a spam text from a number very similar to yours (806-477-9616) The number is from southwestern bell. I thought the pantex plant was the only place that used the 806-477 prefix in this area?

Called 2 times in the early morning around 2:30am,left no message

This is hilarious... I just got a call from this number and realised that it is from a telemarketer, but the funny thing is that I didn't know it was a valid phone number, so I've used this on all the application forms that I fill out instead of putting my real # on it...  Didn't mean to add someone to so many call lists, but if they're a phone spanner, I guess it's karma.

I am getting calls from area codes 212 and 718 for number 123-4567.  Clearly this is a spoofed caller ID and likely an attempt at fraud.

Obviously bogus number, no message, caller id "SPAM? NAME UNAV" on Verizon, 11:17 am EDT.
