He claims to be a stockbroker.  The first few times he called he claimed to be from John Thomas or Thomas John Financial and on subsequent calls he would not answer questions about what company he works for.  He calls and acts like we're bosom buddies and makes refeerences to previous conversations we've never had.  He has my name but I have an unlisted number.  Very obnoxious and pushy.  I strung him along to waste some of his time and he never broke character, even when I totally changed answers as to where I lived, etc.  As the conversation went on he started asking me how much money I had in the stock market and whether I'd be willing to give him my social security number over the phone if we did business together.  LOL!  He's called me at least six times, always with a different telephone number.  These are the numbers he's used.  On 4 of the calls it was unknown but on two calls it was identified as John, Thomas Financial.

I got a call from 212-227-3089, it came up as "Fin John", but he had moved on by the time I picked up the phone.

I have gotten 2 calls from a man who claims to be Fernando from John Thomas. He calls my number asking for one of my family members claiming "he has done business with them before." Both times I hung up, but he is super creepy and bizarre. I tried calling the number back and it just rings. I also googled his name along with John Thomas and I tried to contact him at John Thomas and it does not sound like he works there.

Beware, this guy is clearly a creep.

This # is on a NO-CALL list.  That means you are not to call it.  If I receive more calls from you I will re-port it to our States Attorney General.  Also on the NO-CALL list is 417 861 4420 and 417 587 7777 and you have also been calling those two #s.  More calls to those #s will also be reported.  In other words, hopefully you can understand that you are making a nuisance of yourself.  Please use business ethics and honour this request.  These numbers are part of a business and further interruptions will not be tolerated.

We are an ad agency in the UK and have somehow been unlucky enough to end up on their sales databases (no idea how!).

They call about once a week, sometimes they leave the gap between a little longer in the hope we will forget we've already asked them to remove our number from their database at least 20 times now!! Very rude and abrupt, asking for the MD by first name pretending he's just been cut off, or just running into a meeting, or whatever story they feel like that day (what he doesn't realise....because they are so thick and don't even research the companies they are calling....is that this is a family business and the MD is my dad so I know for fact he is NOT interested and has not just had a conversation with this guy as my dad is currently sat at his desk in front of me....derrr!!)

Just received a call from Mark Morgan asking to speak to the MD, very rude, refused to remove our number from their database, and when I said you will not catch the MD on this number (as he comes and goes as he pleases, and generally just takes calls on his mobile these days) Mark replied "Yes, I will" and hung up. What a tw@t, total tw@t! And obviously too thick to understand the basic principles of building a successful client base....wonder how many people take up their "investment opportunities" as a result of these calls?

interesting info here - reviews from previous employees stating the real issues of working for such a company (sounds awful, I actually feel sorry for the people who have to do this job now, they've obviously been conned by John Thomas Financial senior management with a pipe dream of becoming a top broker)

I will continue to post on their fb and twitter so everyone can see exactly how they conduct their business and create sales leads....if someone from John Thomas Financial would like to come back to me with an explanation I would be very interested to see what they say (although I'm guessing they'll just pretend they are not associated with the callers)

Im glad I dont let him through to my boss, hes such a joke.
He acts like he knows my boss as well, and when I tell him Ill take a message he insists to speak with him, yeah right.
He sounds like such a ******bag.
