Caller ID says Oppenheimer.  I have no Oppenheimer fund connections

The caller said that she had important information about an Oppenheimer fund which I don’t have.

Left message about some great investment opportunity.  I could barely understand him as he talked so quickly.  I deleted the message because I figured it was a scam.

German-accented female voice recording urging me to call about an Oppenheimer opportunity. Undoubtedly a scam as it's unlikely that Oppenheimer Funds does cold-call phone solicitations.

This is a scam. They left a message - a recording by a woman speaking in a South African accent saying there was an opportunity with my Oppenheimer investments. The call-back 800 number is not the toll-free number for Oppenheimer.

Some foreign lady wanting to talk about an investment in an Oppenheimer fund.  Very odd.

Called 3 times in a row, overlapping on multiple lines. Left no message.

I have no investments in Oppenheimer funds. This must be a scam. Blocking.

Here’s the SCAM message:  Hello. We are trying to reach you regarding an important initiative concerning your investments in the Oppenheimer funds. Please contact us at your earliest convenience at one 800-821-2712 between the hours of 9 a.m. And 11 p.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday. Your time is greatly appreciate it. Thank you and have a good day.

Scammer tryiing under a different number. Blocking this one too.

Called 9 times in a row. Left no messages.

Called with enough information to be dangerous - name, number, account.  That is where it went bad.  Scammer was insisting that the account was an IRA and had this wonderful deal to move money around to make a big financial difference.  No IRA.  Called Oppenheimer this morning and the Rep said there are calls being made for proxy only.  After a long history, sadly had to close the account and move it elsewhere.

Called three times in the past hour. Blocked after the first one. I do NOT have an account with Oppenheimer Funds.

Called two consecutive nights between 7:00 and 7:30, left no message. Blocked

This call came to our home landline. CID shows "Oppenheimer Fund," but that's a spoof. No respectable investment company would try to sell their products via telemarketing. Voicemail answered the call and the caller immediately hung up without leaving a message.

It is a legitimate call about proxy vote.  It is one of the funds in an IRA account.

Caller just won't give up.  I never answer.  Now they are calling every day at least 2-3 times per day.
I know if I block it they will just change the number.  I don't really know why something can't be done
about tracing the caller.

I checked Oppenheimer funds, found out they closed at 7 PM New York time. Even mail is suspect to scams.
