i answered a call from this number. I spoke with a man with an Indian accent. He was trying to tell me that the government is giving me a $5000 grant that I will never have to pay back. I was pretty skeptical all along, so I started asking questions, especially after he asked for my bank information (which I don't give to anyone let alone a stranger on the phone). After a few questions he started to become very defensive when he was telling me how safe it is, and that I am not the only one receiving this grant, so I just hung up the phone. Sounds like a scam where they send you a check and it bounces.. I don't really know how it works, but I know its not good...

I got the same call! Right down to the indian guy. When I wouldn't give him my account number he said, "Well, if we don't have your account number how can we give you your money?" I replied, "You have my address. Mail me a check." When he started arguing with me I just hung up on him.

I received a call from this number asking for me.  It was a man with an Indian accent who told me that he was from the U. S. [something] department.  I asked him to repeat the department name, but I still didn't understand it on the repeat (it was short, sounded almost like "mens" or something?)  He said that I had won a $5000 grant from the government that I would never have to pay back.  I hung up when he started trying to verify my info because then I was certain it was a scam.  He called back immediately but didn't leave a message, just sort of breathed into the phone for about 15 seconds.

recieved a call around 2:20 PM, the answering machine picked up.  No one said anything but I could hear background noise with a lot of inaudible talking as if a room full of telemarketers. This went on for a little while before they hung up.
