Yes, I've been receiving calls from this number also. I haven't answered though, as I did not recognize the number. Thanks to all the posts! I can feel comfortable now blocking the number.

This same area code but diffrent number called me Tuesday evening and said that 1500 american ppl was selected to receive a free $9,000 grant that i didn't have to repay and said that they could wire it to me that they would just need me to pay the taxes on it which was $260

keep getting calls from this number I want it stopped

keeps calling have asked not to call keeps disturbing me at work and keeps cussing me out and telling me they are going to keep calling.

I told them to go ahead and deduct it from the $9000 and they hung up......lol..... they shouldn't really have people from overseas trying to scam Americans.... what a joke

Just received the same call from NYC Human Resources.  She said she was from the Treasury Dept.  I hung up.

Call center with someone that cannot speak english so well...wanted my husband, but offered 9000.  from the Gov.----would not have to pay back! Told him heard of the scam and not to call back.  Will he listen??? Have had so many of these call and on do not call list.  they need to get a real job!

Got a call from this loser. Same as the other posts. new ot was a scammer right away and went ham on this third world little turd. I let him say his cheasy shpeal then i asked him if he thaught i was [***]. And i got the most unprofessional response! He was so rude! I then reminded him that theft in india is punishable by having his hands chopped off. Man he got even more rude after i said that! So unprofessional. Just screw with these guys when they call and try to piss them off as much as possible. Maybe if enough people do this they might get an honest job like a cab driver or something.

These idiots called me twice today. The first time I missed it. The second time I answered, because I'm a business and take orders internationally. You could hear them breathing, but they wouldn't answer. I said "Hello" twice and them proceeded to tell them not to call back if they weren't going to answer. I'm blocking them, so they won't have a chance.

Got three so far today.  Don't answer them since I don't recognize the number as friendly.  Very annoying.

I too don't like  to pick up phone calls that I don't recognize. This man kept on saying my name and since I did not answer he did not realize that my voicemail also have picked up and he decided to call me a [***]. I call back and now there's no answer.
