- Irritated| 1 replyKeep calling...when you call back it just rings...then when they do answer it it HOtel Pennsylvania...ask them to stop calling and they get rude and tell you to call your telephone company to get them to stop calling???? We are on the do not call list.....
- Caller: Hotel Pennsylvania
- DadMCall from this number came in at noon today while nobody was home. No message. Number matches the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York at www.hotelpenn.com but somehow I doubt it is coming from them based on the descriptions written by others here. Could be hard to find out, but faking the number must be illegal. Think twice before taking it out on the hotel staff - I don't think it's them.
- Caller: spoofing Hotel Pennsylvania, NY ?
- DCWScreen displays NY HOTEL PENN and this number. No msg left when I let it go to answer.
Hats off to MotoFox for noticing the Pennsylvania Six Five Thousand thing.

- JCReceived a call from this number, caller ID showed up as New York Hotel Penn. No message was left. I called the number back and it was a New York Hotel. They told me they did not place the call and to disregard it. The hotel said they receive numerous calls like mine where someone is placing calls to businesses, and even people's cell phones. I wish there was some way we could stop this.

The Lady apologized and told me that their number has been spoofed and they are working on getting it fixed. She asked for the name on the caller id and the time they called so she could pass it on to the people who are investigating this. She was very nice and apologized several times.

- File with FCC.gov replies to IrritatedHelp yourself AND the Hotel Pennsylvania in New york City AND the FCC's case against the Telemarketing Scammers who are using the Hotel Number to make their illegal calls. Sadly, the real owner of the number, the Hotel, is getting all of the irate calls from the other victims of this "spoofing" scam. Worse, they have the oldest number in NYC with continuous service so that stinks even more...
So folks - Take the 10-15 minutes and fill out the formal Complaint with the FCC, right on their website www.fcc.gov/complaints. You probably spend 5x's that time yakking on your cell phones about blather with your BFFs so come on and DO something REAL towards solving the problem with the folks who CAN and WILL do something to stop it. Make use of the tools to stop this pariah on our lives. I also passed along info to them about Comcast's illegal practices of not providing an Opt -Out capability from their web-site. Comcast immediately resells any info it gets about your service and passes it along to their "partners" who re-sells it and map it to other data about you that they buy off of Facebook (yeah, you all keep thinking its free...)and you name it......If you get a "new" number its 30 days until the Do Not Call becomes effective, and they've sold it a 1,000 times over by then. Thank for ear and let's help the Hotel in NYC while we're at it. - JoeI got a call from this number today claiming to be a representative of quicken loans...
- Mags| 1 replyThis was my Kroger Pharmacy telling me a script was ready!!! How did this happen?
