Unwanted solicitation, seems to be a scam

Heavy noise in background, foreign-accented man kept calling, claiming he was from Microsoft and that my computer was being hacked with spyware and malware.  Wanted me to go on my computer so he could walk me through fixing my hard drive, lol.  I said no thanks and hung up.  He called back immediately and gave same spiel to my husband, who also rejected him and hung up.  He called again and we aren't answering this number anymore, lol.  CALL TYPE:  SCAMMER

I also just received a call from this number and he insisted he was from Microsoft and my PC was infected.  He had a heavy Indian accent.  When I told him I was an expert on PCs he talked a bit then the line went blank.  Beware of this character trying to take control of your PC.

I got a call from 212-777-8394. My call id showed Bernstein K.. I did not answer and no message was left. I am blocking the that number.

Definitely fraud. Caller id says K Bernstein. I have no Windows computer.

I can't believe these people are still out there using different phone numbers and different aliases. You would think by now they would give up, knowing that we are all onto them. Yes, this was a different name and a different number, and if I don't know who you are or your number, I don't pick up. Scammers need to stop!

Called several times under the names of K. BERNSTEIN, and using a different telephone number using the name of ARNOLD KATZ.  Same Indian voice!  Scam!

i had the same experience as terry.  my caller ID said arnold katz and call was from 718-763-0616. they left no message when machine picked up, continued to call even after i picked up and told them stop.  persistent buggers.

HArrasing me about computer

Got three calls yesterday from this number. First was an Indian woman who said she was from "Windows" security. I told her I'm not having problems with my computer then hung up. Second time an Indian man who identified himself as Ryan, also from "Windows" told him I know it's a scam and was reporting him to the "federal authorities" and hung up. Third time was from "Sean"( I guess they think they sound Irish) told him the call was being recorded and forwarded to the FBI.

Received two calls (so far), but in my typical manner, never answered.  I think if they call again, I'll have some fun with them, just as others have shared in previous posts.
I love this site, but we really need "Spam" added as a value to the "Call Type" drop-down list.

I have received 3 calls from #1-212-777-8394 in less than 24 hrs. The nane that comes up on caller ID is K. Bernstein. The first 2 times I got the call, I answered and no one was there. I just got the third one and a person named Adam stated he was from Microsoft and something was wrong with my computer. I hung up on him as I googled this number and it stated it was a hoax.

5 times this morning, so far. Never spoke to anyone. I always answer these calls and any calls from unfamiliar numbers saying "Namaste", which is a Hindu greeting. They then always hang up. Try it, it works. As for blocking. I have temporary blocked it. In the past when I had blocked a number, it would also block some calls that were similar in there numbers (Time-Warner call blocking), go figure. Try the Hindu greeting, it throws them off balance. Also try "Se habla español", that screws them up also
