Says I owe on a payday loan from Cash Advance.

I was given this number to call to get "verification" that I too owed a loan to Cash Advance. They refused to give me an address to either Cash Advance or their (the caller's) address. This number is an unpublished landline in New York City. They guy that called and gave me this number called from a cell phone in Rochester, NY.

I just got the same phone call! Do you know how they got all your information? And what did you do?

My husband and I have been getting the same calls. I flat out told them to take me to court and I would countersue for harassment. On my voicemail the guy left about a 2.5 minute list of threats. They have begun to call family members. Contact the federal trade commission and report them! Give all the information you can.
