I have a couple of ways to deal with these parasites. First, I let the phone ring three full times before I pick up. I pick up and don't say anything for 2-3 seconds. If it is a computer autodialer, 80-90% of the time the computer will hang up thinking it has gotten a voice mail or answering machine. After 2-3 seconds, I say our company name, but don't give out my name. That way they don't automatically have a name if they call back and get someone else. If I still get a person and they insist, I tell them my name is "Richard Smith"(it's not). It is none of their business what my real name is, they are telescammers who are breaking the law. If they persist in calling over and over again, I tell them that my boss is available, and then I use a sports air horn right next to the phone. What are they going to do, sue me? "Your Honor, I was illegally telescamming and they deafened me!" Good luck with THAT argument. The judge might give me a medal. Reporting these "people"(I use that term loosely) to the Do Not Call Registry is futile, they are usually spoofing their phone number anyway. If you have the time, have some fun with them. See how long they will stay on hold or still be on the line if you put the phone down. Take your cordless into the bathroom and have an extended "deposit" at the Porcelain Bank, complete with very loud fake sound effects. Tell them you ARE the boss and listen to their sales pitch, never saying yes to anything, but always saying that you will look at your numbers and see what you can do. Some scammers will record any affirmative answer you give and then splice it into a call and bill you for whatever they are selling, using that as evidence of an order. Waste as much of their time as you can, because that keeps them from scamming other people, and it can be a really fun stress reliever! Anything that we can do to make this less profitable for these ticks on the butt of humanity is a plus. Feel free to pass this on or add to it with your fun ways of taking back your phone lines. If these idiots would get a real job, the world would be a better place for all of us.

Call came first to my cell phone then my land line.  Didn't answer either - no message was left.

i just got the call, and you get a recording 'not accepting calls at this time'. at the same time, when googled, it also shows a listing for Julliard School of Music fax. hmm. could be an old listing.

I got a call on my cell phone -- they didn't leave a message. It is interesting that there was no activity posted here since October 13 and now 3 of us got a call from this number today!  I wonder if it is the same scammer or a different one?

I just got call from them too. I always google the number that i don't know. Good job every one who's take the time and warn others.

The offending caller spoofed the telephone number.  That means that the telephone number that you see is invented and most probably belongs to someone else.  Please don't call them back and cuss them out,  at best they won't know what you are talking about.
Apparently it is necessary to deal with these ne'er-do-wells until such time as a smart telephone system can be contrived.  Look at Google Voice,  they might become the magic phone company that we are seeking.

These scumbags are back to their old tricks.Today is Mar.28,2015.Received a call from this number using a young woman's voice.It was offering to lower my CC to a 6.9% int. rate. I DON'T HAVE AN ACTIVE CREDIT CARD(s)!   HANG UP THE PHONE. Sometimes you would just like to have these people right in your grasp. Rehabilitation would take on a whole new meaning!

We received a variety of calls from this number at odd hours of the day or night.  No one ever left a message.  We do NOT return calls to people calling from long distance numbers who do NOT leave a message.  We figure that it is some sort of telemarketing scheme - telemarketers NEVER want to leave a message!

Got a call today March 28 from CASIANO SHERILY...... So HAPPY i was not home to hear his scam call.

Monday 3/30/15 at 8:43 AM (WTF?) incoming to my cell phone. Did not answer it, googled it, added to my block list.

Recieved a call from this number the caller ID said CASIANO, SHERILY. I have no Freaking Idea who it is but why call my house three times  8:10 A.M.; 8:33 A.M. and 8:54 AM.

Didnt answer    CID was S. Casiano   No message left .     Will now block them and that will be the end of them
