Received a fax from them with mostly correct information except saying our focus is in Europe...we're based in OREGON. Scam.

Last night we have also received the Globe Trade control fax scam.....

Rec'd this fax today. It has so much missing or incorrect information,that, outside of the obvious scam, it is tremedously incompetent and lazy - if it was a legit company.

Global Trade Control: wants us to sign up [for 97,00 Euro monthly] for profile rating.

I aslo was stupid enough to sign their fax we received here in Bulgaria/Europe. It was even hard to be read. I wrote in a handwriting style a request on their fax to correct the contact person only as all other details of our company EUROMASTER IMPORT-EXPORT LTD. were correct, and at the bottom I put my signature and company stamp. I was attracted by their script FREE BASIS and did not pay attention to the rest /my mistake!/. Now we receive their letters /by fax only!/ treatening us to pay. An address in Hamburg, Germany is written in their letters, I would go on excursion there one day (-:) never been to Germany, now I have interest to go there!:) THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR NOTES IN THIS FORUM!

I signed also and am getting harassed and it's not fun.  I was starting to stress, has anyone had any luck on getting them to leave you alone?

Global Trade Control is trying to sell their "services" her in Sweden, too. Just ignore them.
And ignore their invoices. We had accidentially aggreed with a similar company a few ears ago (maybe the same people involved), sending threatening letters. Nothing happened and after som time the letters stopped coming.

Just got one more of their scam faxes here near Paris!

You are under no legal obligation to pay these dirtbags one stinking cent! The contract sent to you via email, without your prior authorization is ilegal in itself! The next time they call you ask for their full name, phone number and address where theyt can be reached, and arrested! Dirtbags!

I am from Malaysia. I did received this fax for updating date. My staff fill in and signed then fax back to them. I received an invoice asking for payment. I refuse and they say will proceed for legal action.....

Did you facing the same problem? Need some advice Please.

yes, we were stupid also, received the fax, signed,.... they are asking to send them money now, 1164+42.50+152.07=1358.57 EUR.......
we will ignore it and wait for their further actions..... we have in-house lawers..........

They are thiefs! They always send you a fax with the wrong details and they insist that you can correct them. Then they ask you for money. It´s a fraud!

Don´t pay attention to their threatening letters

I am with the same problem in Spain, and now they sent the invoices to a credit company here! I told this credit company that this Globe Trade is scam and thiefs and I wont pay! I would love to have a meeting with this guys and bring the police too! :) Don't ever pay to this thiefs!! They should be in jail!

They have been sending letter since 8+ years. Just ignore them.

We are having the same situation in Portugal, signed one of that stupid fax in 2010, and now I'm being contacted by a credit (or debt) local company saying that we have to pay for their customer (Global Trade Control) ... I answered saying that if they don't stop, we will complaint to authorities because in the internet there are lot's of storys about that this and it's clearly a fraud tentative.
