Selling printer supplies

Female caller saying she is calling with Infinity Supplies and wants to speak to the person who has the final say on ordering supplies. I told her that's me and not interested and hung up on her.

Same as above, Infinity Supplies.  

From what I can see it is a scam, selling printer supplies, but want you take their free sample, I'm sure in the end you pay big time! Told them we are not interested and they flat out hung up, no real company would act with such bad behavior!

"Josie" with "Vivid"...she hung up on me when I asked to take a message.

Asked to speak to the person in charge for office supplies such as ink and toners. I placed her on hold and researched the telephone number (213) 224-2097. These notes are helpful on how to deal with these calls. I told her that the person was out to lunch to leave her name and number so they could caller her back. She said "that's okay, I will call back at a later time" and she hang up.

Just got a call from this number.  Caller ID said Los Angeles CA.  Did not answer.

This lady Josie called asking for the person who makes the final decisions. I asked what it was regarding and who she was and she said printer supplies. I told her that we were not interested and she got an attitude with me so I hung up on her. It would be fine if it was the first time that she's called, but it hasn't! She's called several times with the same lines! This company doesn't get it!

All these printer supply scams work the same way. They get an unsuspecting person to tell them what printer and/or copier they are using. They then tell you that you are in luck, that they happen to have a special on that toner today.

The problem is that the toner is several times the price you can get it for elsewhere.

Got a call from Infinity Printing Supplies. Guy was polite enough, but I'm very familiar with this old & tired scam. I tell these calls that our printing supplies are part of a service & supply contract (which is mostly true) and they usually just say thanks & hang up.

Got the same call from Infinity Printing Supplies -- about the third call this week. I cheerfully told the pest that, "Why, yes -- we are very interested in your printer cartridges and copier toner -- but, Helen Waite handles the supplies. Please dial extension '4355' after I put you on hold on OK?  Because all these type of supplier calls need to go directly to Helen Waite -- have a good day!"

Of course, I didn't tell her that we actually have no extension system and no "Helen Waite'. I figured that after dialing the non-responsive 4355 several times and maybe deciphering what it spells, that she would get the hint. Hey, I didn't ask them to pester us with their rip-off scheme -- besides, it's a kind of slow today and I needed a little entertainment.
