got a message about an hour ago , the caller sounded distressed, the person suggested they were going to commit suicide. I did a star69 and got the number and when i tried to call back it was not a working number. how can that be? i'm glad I thought to google the number and found this website. thanks for all the posts.

When someone calls you from a unwanted number on your cell or home, save the number on you phone and name it  DAC  (don't answer call)  or whatever you come up with,  I won't stop them but, they won't get the opportunity to harrass you.

If a telemarketer calls you and you have repeatly told them you are not interested. Here is what you do,  1st act interested enough that you get a name. then the next time they call you, tell them that persons name you spoke to. Explain you need the fax number to send them a form.  when you get the fax number tell that person to take you off the call list.

save as picture, take it to you local copy center print a few for pennies, then take a pencil write in you phone number to be removed.  
this image will catch attention!  they won't want to waste there toner or ink by you faxing this document.
REMEMBER TO CHANGE THE TELEPHONE NUMBER ON YOUR FAX MACHINE SETTING BEFORE SENDING IT.  FAX IT FROM copy center twice .

THIS IS WHAT THE CALLER ID WILL SHOW  EVERYTIME THEY CALL.  YOU'LL GET A REAL  KICK OUT OF IT EVERY TIME YOU SEE IT.  THIS IS A WAY TO TURN SOMETHING BAD INTO SOMETHING LOVELY.  BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY (NOW PASS IT ON)

Called us at an airlines call center....harrassed agent for close to 20 mins

An young male called and said sexually explicit things. When i tried calling back, i got a message saying that this is a non working number. This is Very Frustrating!

Received disgusting calls from this number and 213-8-286-4100 for hours on March 10, 2010!!

Caller wanted to tell me about his experience with his girlfriend last night...that's as far as he got before I hung up!

This number "213-286-4199" is from "SKYPE".    I just called my office 800 number from a SKYPE account (IT''S FREE TO CALL 800 NUMBERS FROM SKYPE)  and it came up on the caller ID.

This young "gentleman" ( and I do use this term loosely) has called my workplace 10 times in the last 45 minutes.  He has been very abusive to my staff, using derogatory language and just being generally stupid.  Do parents no longer monitor their children, or their phone habits or bills?  The number that has called us is long distance.   We have notified the police.  Parents, For the love of everything, know what your children are doing.  Some of the comments made were sexually harrassing, and depending on the area in which you live, could be considered a hate crime.

received a call from this number rightnow..however i am currently in India and all my U.S calls are forwarding to India's #....it's 2:13PM which means it's about 1:45AM in cali.  An idiot with broken english says he is from pakistan and he wants to love me and f***...   what the hell?  I hung up and he called again...cursed him out and hung up on him.

(213) 286-4199- Keeps calling our business thinking they are funny. they should stop. NOW.

213-286-4199 is from la california, when you use a calling card like at&t thru Skype, i called my wife from overseas and this number showed up on my bill the next day, so i assume its skype's phone useage number? first time i ever used skype to call my wife using a at&t prepaid phone card using direct dial a phone number. hope this helps. wehn i call her again using skype i will keep track of the number and see if it changes.

I received a whole bunch of limousine requests from that number claiming they were Russians. Their English was poor so I switched to my Russian - turns out they didn't speak a word of Russian. 10 minutes later they called and claimed to be Mexican - I replied in Spanish they hung up. Another 10 minutes went by they called in bad English and two voices started arguing in Bosnian - little did they know I speak Bosnian too, after which they switched to Albanian which I do NOT speak except for a juicy curse I unloaded in pure Albanian. That's who it is. The Albanians.

ok this is annoying there calling my work anyone got any idea how to make them stop and if its costing my work money is it is im rally angery cause its going to come from my pay cheeck

Keep receiving disturbing calls from 213-286-4199 and 213-286-4100.  Make them stop!!

He called in an order, chicken fried rice, spicy chicken, and shrimp lo mein. I knew it was a bad call already because of all the (213) area codes we've been getting. and I ask for his name and he says John, and for a phone number and gives me a 610 number but we are in the 713 area code. So whatever. He calls back a few minutes later and says sorry I need to cancle my order, I didn't mean to place it. Um.. okay. thanks! I didn't turn it in in the first place =]

Called to order "special brownies" from our bakery, strung our employee out for a while and hung up.

CALLS AT 5:00 A.M. ABOUT ONCE A WEEK. ONE RING AND A HANGUP.  COULD THIS BE A NUMBER THAT MANY PEOPLE ARE USING, PHISHING WITH?

This person has called our hotel on several occassions under several guises.  Some of the phone calls include the following: a bomb threat, a pizza order, and to look for a guest that did not exist, during which he started to "cry," and then called the sales manager with whom he was speaking an expletive before hanging up.  When we call back, we get a busy signal.  Thank you so very much for the feedback-- helped us to nip the situation in the bud and ignore future phone calls using caller ID.
