- Marty KGot a call from this number from a person who called himself Dennis. Same deal..."there is an action against you" and "do not ignore." I tried calling back on Skype. An woman with no obvious accent answered, "United States Treasury." When I told her I received a call this morning, she hung up. Too bad....I was going to leave the number of the CA Atty General for a callback number, along with the address of the U.S. Dept. of Justice in L.A..

- Keith replies to Neil| 1 replyI too just had a message to call this phone number which I did. I was told a warrant for my arrest will be served for tax evasion. What I don't understand is that they never asked for any money or info. Has anyone experienced the same? How do they make their money??
- Keith replies to Susan MI'm going to be arrested also. Did they ask you for any information? They did not ask me.
- MaxI just received the same message. Threatened warrant for arrest due to federal offense. Sounded like an Indian accent. I like the earlier post from the person who answered "FBI Internet Crimes Unit" - I'll use that if they call again!

- Bob BThis should be an easy fix--Law Enforcement has to get together with the local phone Co. security (use to be Pacific Telis) just has to pull either the working address, and if it's only a frame appearance (just a cable pair) then request the billing address. Either way they should have enough for harassing phone calls.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

- JohnnyLCall from them today. Called them back and told the Indian accented lady who answered that I had a message for her. She promptly replied, "I don't need any messages" and immediately hung up. I then called back and the phone rang 20 or so times. Then called again, she answered, and I told her that she was in BIG TROUBLE, she hung up again.
