Called said I refused legal docs and that I was being sued. I asked them a slew of questions they told me to go google it. I called my local police dept and they said it was a scam. Worries me that they have my ssn! [***]!!

this happened to me as well. i asked them who they were trying to collect for "client" is what they refer to them as and they stated some hospital and i called the hospital and they were well aware of this scam and told me not to give them any info at all and that they had no record on me. these people have too much time on their hands.

They are now calling from 213-293-8518. The man claims to be Mark with Roberts & Associates out of L A California. He has someone call from an unknown number gather info and then tells you to call the number above. When you call the guy says you owe some crazy amount in medical bills & that you are being sued. I handed this case over to my attorney for investigation.

Same exact bs happened to me today! Dirt bags... I reported them.. and gave it to my attorney to investigate..

same thing happened to me today. I think it has something to do with Pay Pal being compromised or something because I'd never received a call or anything like this before. I have student loan debt which so doesnt everyone else. but this call happened just 5 days after I applied for PayPal Credit. I think maybe an attorney should look in to this as it may not just be your average scammer it  could be a system hacked and information is out there. They knew my social, my date of birth, my address as of 2 months ago, plus my past 2 years, and my mothers maiden name. below is what they said:
"This call is for Ashleigh Last name. I am calling from LPS. We were hired to set up the delivery of legal documents. Apparently there was a refusal to sign for these legal documents on your behalf. To avoid further legal issues you have two hours to call the firm that made the complaint for services. That number is (213)534-6575. This is in reference to complaint number XXXXXX-XXVA"

Quite a bit concerning with all the personal information that the company knew when I called them.

I received a call from an unknown number, I didn't answer but they left a voice message.
I'm sure it's the same people as the LPS because the message was the same as what is being reported here.

This call is for (a name close to my wife's name), I'm calling from XPS I need to set up delivery of legal documents that were refused to be signed in your behalf. He stated that I had 2 hours to call 424-226-8132 to avoid further legal fees, they also gave me a different number than what is reported here but I googled the number and it came up as Roberts and Associates which I Googled and that is how I got here.
They ended the call with, "Again, You need to call 424-226-8132 NOW!"

Everyone receiving these call needs to call the FTC known as Federal Trade Commission at        1-877 382 4357 make a fool complaint to the government about whatever they're saying to you with names and numbers. This is a scam they are cons and they are doing this to people everywhere. They have told me they were AC services and they have told me that their loss litigations and then they told me they are Roberts Associates out of Los Angeles California I contacted all those firms and reported them to them as well. Once again if you are receiving this phone calls you need to call the FTC immediately

Now they are calling from the number 424-286-0008 said they are Roberts and Associates.

I received a "private number" call on my cell.  I do not answer unrecognized numbers.  They left a voice mail.  With a case number, former name of a family member, 2 hours to call, etc.  But the company they referenced was ACS, and the number to call was 323-844-3980.  Looks like they are changing slightly so they don't come up on these sites.
