- di| 7 repliesI had applied for a job with careerbuilder.com. I got an email next day saying I was being considered for a job with Lockheed Martin. It had a mini application to fill out. I did so. Said I would be notified in a couple of days for interview. The site that I was led to had a place where you could get information on continuing education. I filled it out. I have been bombarded with calls from online schools but no calls for an interview. I put in the name of the HR guy in google and saw several comments that ststed the whole thing is a scam. Keith Grivaldi is the name the email that supposedly came from Lockheed Martin.

- TracyI just started using careerbuilders.com. I received an e-mail that someone would contact me soon for an interview. I had a missed call on my cell phone. When I googled it, this site came up. Whenever I apply for a job the college ad comes up. I finally filled one out during a Wachovia application. I thought it was part of the application to show I was willing to learn more. But I didn't use my cell number to apply. So was weird that the school knew my cell number. Plus, confused why they wouldn't leave a message if my resume was good enough for a job.
- VPSI recently posted my resume on careerbuilder.com and also received an e-mail about a position with Lockheed Martin. I then completed the online application and received an e-mail response the next day stating that their Human Resources Department had received it and forwarded it for consideration. The e-mail also provided me with a username and password to use if I still had an interest in the position. This time, I was asked for personal and professional references so I provided three names and contact information. A few days later, I missed a call from this phone number so I called the number back, only to get a recorded message saying the the number I dialed is not a working number. This makes me think that I have just helped them find 3 more people to send their junk mail to!!
- GigglesSame thing. Applied on Career Builder & got another application for Wachovia. Asked for your phone number & if you preferred to be contacted at home or work but no option to contact via email. I chose home because I suspected something was going on. Now I'm getting bombarded on both lines!

- cwyeah, i got the same wachovia application. now i get called. it's annoying!

- MercsadiesI just got a call on my cellphone, too. It is my main business number which is on my website and resume. Didn't answer. And they didn't leave a message.
- Unemployed in Bangor| 2 repliesYeah. I have been noticing interesting emails about positions I have been applying for online. They all state the same BS about my resume being impressive and that if I were interested in such and such job, I should log in and answer a few questions. I did this once. Why would someone who is seriously interested in employing you have to ask you if you are interested in receiving junk mail about higher education? Because it is a SCAM!
I just found this blog because they called me a few minutes ago and sometimes I look up numbers I don't know. They didn't leave a message, of course. How nice it is that they prey on people who really need jobs and think someone is taking them seriously. Jerks.
I called the number back and got a recording. The man's name was "Jason Marks." I wanted for 5 minutes and someone answered. Then they started asking me to verify my personal information. I stopped them and asked them a few questions. He wasn't familiar with the people who I originally got the email from OR the survey about higher education (Hmm... how strange). The line was all fuzzy and he was very rude. Clearly, this is not a professional business. He said he could withdraw my application if I wanted and when I said, "Yes, please do," he was totally surprised (and still rude).
I don't think I will be applying with them anymore. I have better ways to use my time. I need a job, not some scam artists messing with my personal information. - Disturbed| 3 repliesYeah, I got one too 312-506-8682 I looked up the # on reverse directory and called it...It's a answer system with a women named Michelle I am in Ca. and the reverse # came from Chicago I am on all three, Monster, Career Builders,hotjobs..if this is a scam to optain personal information I will start a class action lawsuit and make sure these people pay for messing with peoples livelyhood....
- Caller: connect network
- TThe same thing happened to me. It was with the Lockheed Martin and Keith Grivaldi. I've also had multiple emails that are exactly the same from different companies. After the Lockheed Martin one I didn't answer anymore because I figured something was up. Today I got a call on my cell with this number and no one left a message. Luckily, I do not answer the phone when I don't recognize the number. When I googled the number I was brought to this site.
- DoI kept getting the one from Wachovia, plus one for a assistant mgr. position and another for a administative assistant. This last one I didn't apply for or qualify for. Now I'm getting them from two different sources. Like everyone else it is annoying when your seriously looking for work. Please be careful.
- Sewjourner replies to DisturbedI got the same thing from that same number 312-506-8682 at exactly 7:23 this morning. I live in northern CA. And the time and date stamp on the call were spooky. It said the date was 71/1/00. And the time was supposedly 11:01am. What is up with that? It referenced Job Connection Network.
- BrendaThis is crazy. I too fell for the scam. I sent my resume in thru Career Builders for this Assistant HR Manager Position. A week later I got an email stating my resume was very impressive and to sign on to this link that asked me a few more questions, and yes a school add popped up.
A day later I got another email scheduling me for a conference interview call at a certain time with a 312 area code. I called that # and all I got was alot of noise, music in the background and inaudible gibberish.
I have called Career Builders and they said they would check into it. - SteveThe same thing happened to me. I am on CareerBuilder. It was an email about a Lockheed Martin job from Keith Grivaldi. This one was with HiringsSolutionsChannel.com, which is a blocked site at my work. I tried the website which asked about personal information and higher education opportunities, which I said no. Today I got a call on my cell from 2142697399@hiringsolutionschannel.com and a message to call them. The call had a message to go to the website above, but the website has errors. When I googled the name, I was brought to this site.

- RSI got a similar call just a few minutes ago on my cell-phone and I am glad I looked it up. I thought it was weird that someone was calling to confirm my information when I have aleady filled it out. The recorded message also said that "Please don't be rude to the agent......". I didn't understand that part. I think it is a scam too, and I have no intentions of giving out anymore information to these people. It said the name of the company is Employment Select.
- Caller: Employment Select
- LisaCheck out this website, very informative. Talks about the above #/website and how they are a scam and lists multiple websites who are affiliated and do the same.
http://www.thetruthaboutisc.com/ - JMSNo call but same situation, emails from careers@hiringsolutionschannel.com, which seems to be connected.
- Caller: careers@hiringsolutionschannel.com
- JoeI got the same thing with Lockheed Martin.
- MalikaI just fell for this scam. I am out of work and have postings on Monster, Careerbuilder, and Hotjobs. I received the following email. It seemed a little fishy so I didn't give my real addres, but I did give up my cell number. Then I thought to google the recruiter's name - Keith Grivaldi. I wish I had googled it BEFORE I gave up my cell number.
I'm posting this in hopes of preventing someone else going through this scam.

Sr. Recruiter, HR Division - laurie| 2 repliesI fell for this scam as well. just like everyone else I am looking for another job and I applied for a job with Lockheed Martin. The same thing happened where I got sent to a website for more education as well. It is also connected to a compnay called PeopleQuest. I also have another email in regards to a clerk position which I did not apply for at all. When I went to google this site came up for me as well. If anyone is seeking to file suit against them, please post. They are messing with peoples lives and its wrong in every sense.
- Caller: PeopleQuest
- James replies to laurie| 1 replyI just got a call from this number as well. Like many of you, I also have resumes posted on Hotjobs.com and monster.com. This scam is wrong to prey on people who are out of work seeking employment.
Does anyone know if they are trying to get social #'s and personal info as a possible identy theft, credit cards, etc?
I'm not sue happy by any means. But I think we should all file a class action lawsuit, if this is the case.
