Over 20 calls from these people in the last 24 hours alone!  THEY WON'T STOP!  As soon as I answer, they hang up.  I've now spoken with FIVE people on live chat on their website.  STILL getting calls!  I'm so upset!  My next step is contacting the FCC.  If you're having the same problem, I suggest you go to wu-yisource.com && talk with someone on live chat.  Be sure to email yourself a copy of the transcript when finished.  This way, if the problem continues you have proof to take to the FCC.  I never even placed an order with this company!  GRR!

yep, this number just calls and calls, 3 times last night.  Thanks for all the tips, I might try the live chat but I hate the idea of them wasting any more of my time.  I also went back to donotcall.gov just to enter our phone # again...I'm sure I've already done it but why not "refresh" it

Does anyone ever get anybody to answer the phone when they call this #213-426-2708 back to get off their list. It plays music then says im next in line but they never answer. They call my cell phone at 6:00am till 9:40am about every 30 min. I just put my cell phone # on the do not call list, I hope they will do it. These people r driving me nuts.....I believe I looked at the Wi-Yu tea because they had a free sample but I never ordered it. These people need to be dealt with.

Gee, that's funny.  I just went to the web site and requested that they remove my phone number from their calling list and all they did was give me an 866 number to call.  That's pretty convenient.  Force me to speak with a live representative so they can still try to convince me to buy their stupid product.  The really angering part is that they called after I had my kids in bed, so the ringing phone woke them up.  I have lodged my complaint with www.donotcall.gov.  I'll let them take it from here.

I went onto the live chat and was told to call the number that was calling me: (213) 426-2708.  It wasn't something that could be done on live chat (according to "Maggie" anyway).

Whenever you call and ask to be on the company's do-not-call list, remember you are asking for that company only.  Ask them to include any affiliate companies do-not-call lists, as well as any list that your information may be on too.

There are many do-not-call lists, unfortunately.

I just started receiving these calls yesterday back to back and one just came in.  I had to look up the number and I see i'm not the only one getting this call.  213-426-2708

Just last week it started on my cell. I get like 4 calls a day. I have not answered any as I had no idea where 213 area code was till I looked it up and found this site. Interesting way to find out stuff. Today I only got 2 calls. Hopefully they will get tired of no one answering and stop . But I am going to report this number to do no call .

Received two missed calls as I did not answer. Hit recall and went to muzak with "an agent will be with you soon" message, hung up.

I've been getting calls from this number and other numbers too. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Go get a real job and stop harrassing people on their private cell phone numbers. I put my cell phone on the do-not-call-list....let's see if it works.

I have received at least 6 calls from them today alone.  When they called the first time, they hung up after the first ring.  The other 5 times they hung up when I answered.  I was in the middle of feeding my newborn when they called.  It's really annoying!!!!

I then decided to call THEM.... I was on hold for 5 minutes before I decided to type in the whole phone number and do a search to maybe find out what company it's from.... and I found this.... Who are these people?! I never did anything with any kind of tea online I don't like the stuff... So it can't be for that for me.

JUST FOUND THIS:

The number is for "GLOBALREACHINT", widely reported to be violating the Do Not Call list law.

They appear to be running several scams, including one where they try to get consumers to buy various "grant writing", "government grant", "home based business", or "internet business opportunity" packages for a couple bucks supposedly for "shipping and handling", but then start running thru larger charges on the consumer's account.  Although there are some complaints from people suckered in, most complaints appear to be of incessant hang-up calls, or calls with no-one even on the line.

There has been some speculation about where they were located, but BBB now has a report on them, as of 1-25-08, including their address in L.A. and the above phone number, but with no complaint information.  They show a "CC" rating (Average), but there must be some reason the file was opened on them, probably with complaints received but not yet responded to, so they don't show meaningful statistics and the rating probably has no validity.

If your number is on the Do Not Call list, or they are calling your cell phone, just file a complaint with FTC.  If not, put it on the Do Not Call list.  Also file complaints with FCC, your state AG, and the California AG.  Although they are widely reported to be harassing many people just like they are harassing you, nothing but enough complaints to get government action is likely to stop them.

Well I removed my email address, and went to their online chat and they I had them remove my number, and in turn she told me that my number would be forewarded to be removed.  But they called me and asked for me by name and told them they have the wrong number.  I do like the fact that using the city morgue.  HAHA.  If they call again i will use that!

WOW!! Thank you all for the ideas.  I got the first call and they hung up and not more than 10 minutes later. Good thing I had googled the phone number and found this site and the idea of the "City Morgue" lol! I actually used "newspaper!" and when she asked for my name I insisted I didn't know anyone by that name. I haven't had another call yet!

I have been recieving calls from 213-426-2708 on my cell phone for about 1 week now, it's extremely annoying!! i didn't know who it was so i answered but they just kept hanging up,when you call the number back it places you on hold telling you that your the next caller in line,never stating any companie's name neither do you get a live person to speak with.I have now stopped responding to the calls but it is very,very annoying,I hope that everyone recieving these calls will report them,so that they will be caught & penalized for this behavior!!!  by the way I also viewed info reg Wu Yi tea!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

When I looked up the #213-426-2708 this is what it says online. They start harassing me at 6:00am-PT every 30 mins. I thought it was WU-YI source but they say it's not them. It's supposed to be Pacific Bell in LA. I will try to contact and see if I can resolve with them, but no one ever picks up. I guess I'll have to sit for a whole day on the phone until someone picks up. I hope one of us can get this resolved, I know everyone is tired of being called for no reason. Good luck
