I called this number back after a few hang ups and a telemarketer with a Asian accent answered. This was in regards to an inquirey to an acai diet product and advertisment featuring Rachael Ray on the web.
I told them I wasnt interested and she said thank you and hung up.

I started getting these calls after I signed up for my DTV Converter box through the FCC. Did anyone notice this also?

Constantly calls even though I requested they not contact me. Started last year. Stopped for about 6 months and have now received 7 calls within the last 3 hrs. On the first call I answered and a woman with a foreign accent tried to sell me something but could not understand. Now they do not bother to leave my cell phone ring more then 3 times and leave no messages. Have no idea how they obtained my number.

They call over and over.  This is the reason I decided to find out who they are.

They are at it again.  I have been receiving calls every 30 minutes or so since Tue, Jan 27, 2009.  I wish we could stop this ridiculous caller once and for all

Received two "unknown" calls on 1/26/09 in the evening(did not answer them) and then one from (213)430-4262, when I answered, they hung up. I did not return their call.

these people really bug. I try not to answer but they dont stop and I think just maybe I can get threw to them to stop, if anyone figures out how to make them stop calling let us all know...

our local phone company has a call trace , after you recieve the call hang up and call *57 and after three times the you call a 1-800 number given to you during the trace and the phone company will take action as a harassing call. So check to see if your local provider has something similar ,I found out about it in our local phone book.

Gotta call this morning from this number, didnt answer it because I didnt recognize it and there was no voicemail.

I had 3 miss calls this morning from this number so I called it back. A women answered, it's a company trying to get my credit card number for a weightloss trial I signed up for online a few days ago.

Hey Samantha,

Anyone who has to  succumb to a job in telemarketing CLEARLY has no education.  It is not a real job.  I give the guy kudos for threatening her and her family, how else would he get her to stop?????  And your idea of "just hanging up,"  I don't want them calling me in the FIRST PLACE.  Telemarketers are just rude, not the people who are "mean to them."  I don't want them calling me, no one does, so if they don't stop we do what is necessary to make them stop.

Get over it, he did what he thought was necessary!

I called the number back and found out that they are a company which sells products such as weight loss pills.  Apparently my wife inquired about something on the internet with this company and they started calling us.  Now it won't stop.

I had the same problem. According to my bf they have called my house 12 times in the last few days while I was at work and when I finally answered the 13th time today they hung up after I said hello. We have put our number on the DO NOT CALL list but it takes a month to take effect.

I keep receiving these phone calls also at least 12x a day or more. My BIGGEST PROBLEM  is that they are calling my FAX#...STUPID!! It is getting VERY ANNOYING! To say the least! The very worst part is I cannot turn off my fax machine because it is used for business daily. STOP CALLING MY FAX MACHINE DUMBASS!!!!!!

I receive phone calls at least FOUR times a day from 1-213-430-4262.  Whoever it is hangs up as soon as I answer.  I just pick up and yell "stop calling" but they hang up too soon to hear it.  It is very annoying, especially when your being interrupted at dinner!

I've received 10 calls from this number since 8 am this morning (it's not yet 2PM). I haven't answered them, nor has there been a message left. I too started to sign up to order acai berry this past weekend and canceled the order. I signed up on the cell do not call list, what else can I do to stop thses calls?
